Checkout 51 & More!
We're big fans of apps that pay us or provide us with great deals! Here is just a quick overview of the apps we use! Checkout 51: We got our first cheque from Checkout 51 today! A friend of mine (who is an extreme couponer) racked up her Checkout 51 account to $100+ in her first few months... It took us an entire year to accumulate $20 so it really depends on what you're buying! All you need to do is upload your receipt within a certain time frame to claim your offers! Zweet: Zweet is a bit more user friendly for us as it provides more blanket offers than Checkout 51 (for example 25 cents for any vegetable purchase). I find it has less things that we buy though so it has taken us quite awhile to accumulate money on. The nice thing about Zweet is that you accumulate money and points (which you can use for rewards) Snap: Snap is the one I use the least. It's very similar to Zweet (more blanket opportunities) but less products that we buy. If you're interested, you can sign up via our referral link ;) It's produced by Groupon. https://snap.groupon.com/app?ref=8d38c9ea542d6130 Tcheck'it: This was our latest find. You're given "missions" to complete (usually searching for product displays in stores). The only downfall with this app so far is that there are hardly any jobs in our area and it's taken 2 weeks for a new job to appear. The payout is minimal ~2.00 a job but would add up quickly if we lived in a more populated area. Caddle: Caddle has to be my favourite app so far. You get paid for either completing a task (usually taking a picture) or a rebate for an item that you have bought (similarly to checkout 51/Zweet/snap). It combines the best of both worlds! You can also earn 25cents for watching videos and answering surveys. Flipp: We don't use flipp as often as we should... Flipp not only provides you with many major local flyers but also has coupons which it will pair with items that are on sale in your area. It's perfect for people like us who are on the hunt for bargains but don't receive flyers. Also great for lowering your footprint. Finally, my favourite. The PC plus app! We bank with PC so it's obvious that we have a PC plus account. What's great about this app (and also totally creepy) is that it tracks what we buy...and then rewards us with extra bonus points for purchasing items! Our points add up quite quickly (we usually gas up at superstore) so we earn free groceries quite quickly! So ends my list! I'm sure I've forgotten some but these are the apps that we use most often! What are some of your favourite money saving tricks or apps?
