Authors note: this is the most serious fanfic I have ever written. The amount of thought and care that went into this is insane, hope you guys really appreciate it.
It was chapter 7 season 3. Feeb4s had logged off at the end of the last round, meaning tabomatto's WiFi was thriving like never before. Feeb4s was a curse when it came to the wellbeing of tabomatto's internet connection. As the bus took off from spawn island, pearl and tabomatto were going back and forth debating on where to drop, eventually settling on fore fields. Not only was it right below them, but the legendary loot nameplate was calling to them. It was when they got close enough to the ground to whip out their gliders that they saw the real horrors.
"Holy shit there's bare fucking people dropping here" pearl said, her voice shaking with unfathomable fear.
"Fuck sake mate we don't stand a chance." Tabomatto exclaimed, a shiver of worry passing through their spine.
The amount of glider icons showing up on their visual audio was ridiculous. The sound of about half the lobby deploying their gliders at the same time rung through the air, making pearl gulp.
They hit the ground at the same time, both running to hide inside the toilets, crouching with record breaking speed. Their cover was brilliant, it was beautiful, it was genius. Pearl had opened the chest and got a chaos reloader, ready to protect tabo her precious Fortnite bebeh. The sound of footsteps began to surround them, the silence broken by gunshots and the sound of pleas for merch. Pearl slammed her eyes shut, a single tear running down her cheek. She wrapped an arm around tabo.
"I'll protect you, don't worry, just stay quiet."
Tabo nodded in response, too overwhelmed with fear to speak.
Pearls gaze shifted to angerdingus, her iconic yeti sidekick. "And I'll protect you too little buddy." Angerdingus was only a bebeh, he was clueless to the danger he was in and that made both pearl and tabo smile a sad smile. Pearl reached down and pet the top of angerdingus's fluffy head, scratching behind his icy horns. God if only she knew the mistake she was making. A simple act of reassurance was about to cost her everything.
"Yeah!" Angerdingus exclaimed. Bless him. Only a child, barely fluent in English, staring up at pearl with those wide blue eyes.
Pearl immediately tried to quiet him, pushing a hand against his mouth. Tabo's hands began shaking as the footsteps came closer, knowing what was about to happen they began silently sobbing. "Do something! I won't be able to live without you!" They whisper shouted at pearl.
"I'm tryin-" the door broke down, cutting pearl off. Bugs bunny and Donald duck burst in, a duo far more advanced than them.
Tabo could've sworn the whole thing happened in slow mo. The shotguns raising, pearl shooting the first shot but nevertheless falling to the floor, blood pouring out of her chest, coating the tile in a bright red pool. "NOOOOOO!" tabo sobbed. Angerdingus stood over pearl, staring down in confusion, his big bebeh eyes so innocent.
"..r-r-run... Please.." pearl used her last breath, her watery gaze staring up at tabo. She looked so scared, tabo couldn't bare it. She reached a hand out to stroke angerdingus, and with that her eyes rolled back and she went fully limp.
Tabo was stranded, no guns, zero shield, shoes coated in pearls blood, held at gunpoint by bugs bunny. A surge of adrenaline ran through tabo and they knew they had to avenge her. They scooped angerdingus up with their arm and bolted, jumping out of the window. It was something straight out of a John wick movie.
They ran, they ran til their muscles ached and their legs gave out. Collapsing behind a tree, tabo set angerdingus down head falling back against the bark as they desperately caught their breath. Tears flooded endlessly out of their eyes, streaming down their cheeks and dropping off their chin.
"Fuck!" Tabo punched the ground, feeling helpless.
Just as they caught their breath, eyes closing momentarily to come up with some sort of a plan, tabo felt it, a soft gust of wind followed by a thwip sound shooting through the air. A bullet landed straight between their brows. Bugs and Donald has followed tabo, perched ontop of a rooftop and waited for the right moment to strike. How could someone be so heartless.
The words popped up on tabo and pearls screens. 'you placed 45/50 teams.'
"Fucks sake. Whatever mate just ready up again."
Okay on a serious note this is obviously a joke. This happened to me and my friend @tblrfrogthetblrblog back in like may or April and the idea to make it into a fanfic was so funny. I just never got round to it, but tonight we were talking about it and I finally decided to just do it. Sorry that this is the first photo I've made in like two months 🥹
