Hi, it's @iceoftf. This is my sideblog just for my OCs, specifically for Twisted Wonderland. It's just a little blog to let them have the spotlight and everything surrounding the world. Not totally creative, but I'm just giving it a shot.
Hello, hello! Welcome to Non-Magical Students, a Twisted Wonderland story! This blog is for this altered story, the OCs made for it, etc. This is an index to get to certain links easier, writing or otherwise, so hopefully it's easier to navigate and find everything better. It will be updated anytime I post a new chapter or any other update. Thank you for checking it out and I hope you enjoy!

It was a surprise, but Stella loved the concept of dressing up to fend off ghosts, tasty candies and more! So imagine her joy when Night Raven had a tradition called “Halloween Week”, where the school would be decked out in spooky-like decorations, students dressed up in themed costumes per dorm, and ending the week with a huge parade and party. It also opened the campus to people wanting to come in and enjoy the festivities. Although there were a few hiccups, they got their big party and parade at the end.
“Grim? Where are you?” she calls out, looking outside the Ramshackle dorm. The party is still ongoing near the entrance of campus, but her furry roommate ran off somewhere and she volunteered to bring him back. Unfortunately, he was faster than her and now she’s having a hard time finding him. “He isn’t here either.” she sighs before looking up at her dorm. It wasn’t decorated by her group, but it was made up by Diasomnia. It was dragon themed and super beautiful and terrifying. It was such a nice gesture; she had to thank Diasomnia for this again.
“Child of Man. Can we talk for a moment?” She recognizes that voice. She turns to face the person.
“Mr. Horns!” She greets her mystery friend. Mr. Horns was wearing the Diasomnia’s dragon themed costume, which somehow made him look taller.
“I was thinking we finally had the chance to talk together when I saw you leaving the party.” He was waiting to talk to her alone? For some reason, every time they were together, it was like he put her in some spell where she didn't want to leave. “I have something to ask you... Are you enjoying Halloween at Night Raven College?”
“...What type of silly question is that?”
“Huh?” He seems taken aback by her answer.
“Of course I'm enjoying it!” She beams up at him. “Despite the problem with the Magicam Monsters, I couldn't have asked for a better Halloween. Thanks to everyone, especially you Mr. Horns.”
“You are thanking me?” She nods.
“Your dorm decorated ours into something so creative and wonderful. I don't know why your dorm leader decided on us, but I have an idea that you had something to do with it.”
“I see... I'm glad to hear that.” He smiles a bit from her gratitude. “We got involved in trouble before... Even so, I was happy to spend a wonderful Halloweem at the Ramshackle dorm. You let us borrow your dorm, so I was curious how you felt about all of this. It's only been seven days, but... Halloween has been very special to me.” That made her smile. She wants everyone to love the holiday as much as she does.
“I'm happy you feel that way. I hope you feel that way every Halloween.”
“If it's with you, of course I shall.” That comment made her cheeks burn.
“With...me?” she muttered. He chuckles softly at her response.
“Please enjoy Halloween until the end. Happy Halloween.” he says.
“Happy Halloween.” They both raise their arms up and cheer “GAO!” at each other. It didn’t feel silly to do this, as they both enjoyed the tradition.
That’s what Dove had to tell herself. She believed in the vast creativity of people who tell these stories. They were just stories, though, and she didn’t have to get scared of it. So she shouldn’t be scared when someone is telling such a story.
“It was only the two of them left.” Ace continues the story. It was the two of them, sitting on his bed with the covers over them and a flashlight the only source of light between them. Everyone was downstairs relaxing in the lounge, but Ace suggested that they go back to the room and tell each other stories. She thought he meant they would tell random stories, but she should’ve expected it to be scary stories. But she didn’t want to seem like a scaredy cat. “All of their friends haven't come back. They both knew that this wasn’t a prank anymore; something got them all and the fire was going to go out soon.”
“They went through their options. They could make a run for it, but would they make it far in the dark? Frozen in fear, the two friends, sitting across from each other, watch as the light from the fire slowly fades away.” She was so focused on his storytelling that she didn’t notice him slowly reaching for the flashlight. “The fire was getting weaker, smaller and smaller the embers faded, until-” He turned it off suddenly, blanketing them in darkness. Dove managed to not let out a noise when this happened. “It was so quiet.” She could hear him whisper. “Not a peep from the woods, not even the wind. They both had to believe that it was going to be okay, as long as it’s just the two of them…”
Something blew on the back of her neck.
“Eeek!” She yelps and jumps, ripping the cover off of her. Ace is laughing his butt off while she glares at him, puffing her cheeks. “That was such a dirty trick, Ace!” she snaps.
“Sorry, but I couldn’t help it!” he cackles. “I wish I could’ve seen your face though.”
“Oh, ha ha.” she says sarcastically, pulling the covers around her. It’s well-known that you were to scare the people you’re telling the story to at the end, but she didn’t expect it to be this effective. Despite telling herself over and over again that she wasn’t going to get scared, she ended up getting scared anyway. She was so embarrassed. Suddenly, Dove felt a hand gently pat her head.
“Hey, listen.” her friend begins, looking a little guilty. “Forget about the story. Everyone might be coming up soon, so let’s chill out for a bit before bedtime.” She blinks up at him, taken aback by his comment. He has his kinder side come out, but it was never this fast.
“You’re being so nice all of a sudden, Ace.” she lightly teases him. Now it was his turn to be taken aback.
“Hey, I’m nice all the time!” he argues, taking his hand away to rub the back of his neck. “I just don’t want you to go blabbing to Deuce about this. He’ll just go on and on all night, making this a bigger deal than it is.” It was an excuse, but she didn’t mind it.
Leona noticed it once when he visited the Ramshackle dorm. He was lying next to the window while Amelia was sitting on one of the couches. He went in and out of sleep, occasionally glancing her way. She was engrossed in a book, but because she covered the title of it, he has no idea what it was. It doesn’t help that whenever she reads, she has a neutral face all the time. Most of the time, actually.
If something shocking happened, she would let out a little gasp before quickly clearing her throat to hide it. If something frustrating happened, she let out a tiny huff before continuing. It was a no-brainer that when she kicked her feet that she just read something exciting. He understood all of those, but there was one thing that he couldn’t understand.
Every once in a while, she lifts her forefinger up to her mouth and lightly nips on it. He couldn’t figure it out. Other than this little quirk, her face remained neutral. He’ll figure it out eventually, as long as he finds ways to lounge close to her.
All seven girls and Grim looked at the item on the table. It was given to them by Crowley shortly after they were made as students at the academy and tasked at taking pictures and preserving memories on campus.
“Sooo…” Alex breaks the silence. “I’m going to be super honest here: I’ve never seen this type of camera ever in my life.”
“It looks like something my grandpa would own.” Dove comments. Yasmina nods in agreement.
“I dunno see what the problem is.” Grim pipes up. “All ya have to do is point and shoot. Right?”
“That’s what concerns me.” Amelia points out. “It’s supposed to act like a video camera, but takes pictures instead. Then the photos are supposed to move on their own. Magic or not, it’s still weird.”
“We still have a job to do.” Stella says before picking up the camera. The familiar square shape of the camera felt small and light in her hands, yet it holds a strange power from within. “We have to give this a trial run, before we go out and take photos of the others.”
“We’re seriously going to test this out?” Yasmina questions. “I’m still getting used to the whole “magic is real” thing, but are we actually going to trust a dude in a bird mask? What if we take a picture of someone and then it steals their soul or something?”
“Do you think that would actually happen?” Dove asks, concerned over her suggestion.
“Only one way to find out.” Stella says before putting the camera up to look through the camera lens. Nothing looks out of the ordinary from the len’s point of view, so maybe everything would be alright? Trying to find something to take a photo of, she settles on the entrance to the lounge. It’ll be a good test if she takes a picture of an inanimate object. She lines up the picture and clicks the button on top of the camera. It clicks with a flash from the camera. A second later, a polaroid slides out from the slit at the bottom. She takes it and looks at the blank polaroid. Everyone crowds behind her and Grim jumps on her shoulder.
“Where’s the picture?” the cat asks.
“I knew there was something off about this thing.” Yasmina pipes up.
“Maybe it takes a while for the picture to show up?” Ambrosia suggests. “It’s an older device, after all. We can’t expect it to work instantly like a smartphone.” That reminded her that none of them had a smartphone of their own… The blank picture soon starts fading into a real photo; it’s the same entrance that she took, but it doesn’t just show that moment. It showed their first time in the dorm to their first day at the school, and to right now. It was like there was an invisible video camera there to catch it all.
“Wow!” They were in awe. Looks like this old thing delivered on something extraordinary after all.
Despite how they got in this situation, both Dove and Dolphina were excited to be on an island! Being here along with some of their friends and their new friend, Stitch, brought them an early summer vacation. Who knew being sucked into a book would end up like this? Everyone made the most of it, getting together food and water and wood for storage and fire at night. But once that’s over and done with, it was time for some fun in the sun!
First things first was the sand. It was so white and soft, a perfect compliment to the greenery of the island and the crystal blue of the ocean. Both girls wanted to make sandcastles, so while the boys played by the water, they stayed by to start building their castle. They sat around, looking at the sand.
“How do we start?” the dark haired girl asks her friend.
“We start with a good base for our castle.” the coral haired girl answers. She cups the sand in her hands and starts stacking it up in a pile. Then she starts molding the sand carefully until she makes it into a square. “It doesn’t need to be perfect; all we need is a basic shape for our castle and we can go from there.”
“That’s pretty cool! You sure know your stuff, Dolphy.” The other girl giggles.
“Thanks! I’ve just had a lot of experience by the cove near my home.” she explains, both of them building up the sand to make it taller. “That’s why I love the ocean so much. I would go out there sometimes and have my own little beach day whenever I wanted to get out of lessons. I would look out on the horizon to see if my parent’s ship or any ship would come in.”
“You must’ve had the prettiest sight back at home.” She follows Dolphina and starts shaping the towers. “I live in the countryside, so I’m used to flower meadows and grassy hills. We would only go out to the beach during holiday and it was always nice whenever we went.”
“That’s cool! And where you live sounds just as pretty. Oh, I know! If we do find a way back home, we should find time to visit each other’s homes. You can visit me to see the cove and I can see where you live and the flowers.” she suggests excitedly. Having friends in their world will probably be the best excuse to go around the world. The other girl beams at the idea.
“That’s a wonderful idea! And it would be nice to visit everyone’s homes from our dorm too.”
“I was thinking the same thing!” Both girls were excited at the idea, finishing up their castle. Talk about fun in the sun.
Amelia looked up from her notebook to see Jack looking at her. She was outside by the field, sitting under one of the many trees to focus on her writing. It was just a nice place without too many people around, other than maybe the library or her own room. She was engaged with her writing when she heard Jack address her. It might be time for his club to be out here and he spotted her.
“Oh, hey Jack.” she greets. “I’m just writing and decided to do it out in the field. Is your Track club starting?”
“Yeah, but you’re far enough to not be affected,” he explains. “I happened to notice you and wanted to see what you were doing out here.”
“You were checking up on me?”
“I didn’t say that!” He defends himself. He always tries (and fails) to hide his concern and care for others.
“Of course not.” she cheekily responds. He huffs before continuing.
“Anyway. I don’t usually see you writing out on the field, so I was curious if there was a reason for that.”
“Nothing in particular. It’s a nice day to focus back on a story I’ve been doing.” she explains.
“What kind of story?” he asks. She gave him the notebook, which he takes and flips through a few pages.
“I decided to write about my experience here at Night Raven and compile it as a memoir of sorts.” she explains. It was something that popped in her head a few weeks after the Magift competition. They were journal entries at first, but after the two Overblot incidents, she decided to use them as a storytelling narrative. “I think it would be nice to have a written memory of everything that’s happened.”
“I think that’s smart. Besides, your writing is really good; people would love to read this.” he says, looking through a few lines.
“Thank you, Jack. That’s very nice to hear.” Amelia thanks him. She is still on the fence with how many people she would show her work to, but having other people around giving her that push might change her mind.

It was so cute!
Even though they didn’t know where they came from, the little Tsum Tsums were just adorable! These squishable bean-like creatures looked like some of the students on campus and acted like them too. They all didn’t come in one night and, whenever they did come, they were different each time. And yet, it still surprised everyone when Tsum Tsums came in the form of the Ramshackle group.
Dove’s Tsum Tsum was bouncy like she was and tended to lean towards more of her curious side than her at times. This led to some little misadventures around campus, like getting it out of teacher’s offices and taking it away from drinking something unknown. It also stayed close to her friend group, particularly Ace and Deuce. It would jump on each of their shoulders and nuzzle up against their cheeks. This usually made Dove blush.
Amelia’s Tsum Tsum was calm but very protective like her. Whenever there was a hint of any of her dorm mates feeling uncomfortable, it would come to their “rescue” and guard them. It was a little comical for such a cute creature to guard anyone, but she appreciated the effort. Most of the time, it would go to the library and pick out a ton of books for both of them to read. The vice Prefect was perfectly fine with this, though she became flustered when it snuggled up to Leona when they met.
Dolphina’s Tsum Tsum is energetic and bouncy around people. Literally; whenever they came across anyone else, it would jump onto people as a “friendly greeting”. It was embarrassing, but she was happy that it had more confidence around boys than she did. It was especially drawn to the water and wanting to swim in it. They settled on the pool and took advantage of this to just play around the pool for most of the day.
Yasmina’s Tsum Tsum stayed at her side for most of the day. It rarely left her side and almost ran away when there were groups too large. That was until there was a sport being played. It wanted to jump in, even though it was shorter in every way, though its bouncy form was a big advantage when it came to playing basketball. Ambrosia’s Tsum Tsum also keeps to itself, focused on her sketchbook and drawings. Though, it was amazing to her when she went into the kitchen to snack on some chocolates.
Alex’s Tsum Tsum never sat still once. It was always looking for a way to jog around or be proactive in any sort of physical activity. It was always active that even made her tired, but she never backed down from a challenge. When it wasn’t physical activities, it was participating with threading clothes. It was very helpful (with its little nubs for hands), providing fabrics and tools needed to bring something together. It was even willing to be a guinea pig for Idia’s experiment on how the Tsum Tsums work. But it wasn’t easy for him dealing with its energetic nature.
Stella’s Tsum Tsum is inquisitive like her, loves being surrounded by her dorm mates. It was especially exciting when it came to dancing; it swayed along with the music with her and kept up with the rhythm. Whenever she would hang out with Malleus, her Tsum Tsum would snuggle up to him and switch between the two of them. Thankfully, both of them found it adorable.

If she was to be a queen one day, who would be her king?
That was something she was born and trained to consider. Stella was only a princess in her homeland, but it didn’t really register to her up until now. Maybe that’s why she wasn’t in a hurry to go back home. Not only did she enjoy being in school and experiencing the school experience, but she has made plenty of friends here that she would be sad to say goodbye to. One of her friends was-
“Is there something on your mind?” She’s brought out of her thoughts and looks up to see curious green eyes staring back at her. Mr, Horns was a mystery to her at first. He only appeared at night after the school day and chatted for a short while. But then she learned that he was the talked about and dorm Prefect of Diasomnia Malleus Draconia, and that strangely didn’t change anything. It actually drew them closer together.
“There is something on my mind.” she admits. “Have you ever thought about having a partner beside you when you become king one day?”
“Hmm.” he hums at the question. It must have been a weird question to spring on him, but she wanted to get a second opinion. He took a moment to think before answering her. “I suppose that is a possibility.”
“You haven’t thought about it before?”
“It’s not as if I’ve never considered it before. It’s something to be expected of me, in order to continue the Draconia bloodline. But my main focus has been my experience in school life.”
“That makes sense.” she agrees, nodding.
“Why do you ask?”
“I realize that once I return home, it’s something I would have to consider. I’m still a princess, but everyone expects I will find a future king sooner or later. Being here has been a good chance for me to experience before that happens.”
“Life is full of tough decisions,” he points out. “I’m sure when the time comes that you’ll find the perfect match to rule beside you.” It was a simple statement, but it was enough for her. It was nice to know that she wasn’t experiencing this alone. They were always on the same page…

Something smelled great.
Cater was used to Trey’s baking, but this was something different. When he walked into the kitchen, he was surprised to see both Dove and Yasmina there and clearly cooking something. “Well, if it isn’t Dovey and Yassy?~” he greets gleefully, making the two girls look up at him.
“Oh, hi Cater!” the dark haired girl greets back, while the other girl just waves at him. “What brings you here?”
“I was passing through when I smelled something good~” he explained, walking around to see what they were doing. He saw that they had made some round, shiny bread that was still steaming. “Oooo~ This is definitely the delicious smell that called me here~ What are these?”
“We made some pork buns.” Yasmina explained. “I got the recipe from Jamil and it’s basically these sealed sandwiches that have marinated pork inside. We made some for our dorm and for our individual clubs to have tomorrow.”
“It was supposed to be a surprise, but you came in just as we were wrapping things up.” Dove says.
“Aw~ Sorry I ruined the surprise, little Dovey.” he sheepishly apologizes. It was such a cute thing that these two did for their friends and companions. “I can pretend to be surprised when you bring them in. I won’t tell a soul~”
“Thank you, Cater.” His young companion grins widely up at him. Yasmina just nods.
“You better. We worked too hard on this surprise to be ruined by you blabbing to everyone.” she says.
“Aw, you wound me with your words, Yassy!” the senior whines, making her roll her eyes. “Though… if you were to, say, give me an incentive to keep me quiet…” he suggests, swinging back and forth in a playful manner. Both girls look at each other before they sigh unanimously.
“I knew you would say something like that.” Dove comments before taking one of the pork buns and cuts it into three parts. She gave one to Cater and he loved how warm it still was in his hand, the steam from the marinated pork still steaming in the milk bun. Once everyone had their share, they all took a bite. It was so good! The milk bun was so soft and fluffy and the pork inside was juicy and meaty, with a hint of spices inside.
“This is delicious! You two did a great job.” he praises. “I can’t wait to have one of these bad boys tomorrow.” Dove beamed like the sunshine she was at his compliment, and even Yasmina had a small blush on her face.

Dove was relaxing in the courtyard with Ace, Deuce and Grim. They were talking for a long time until a comfortable silence came over them, everyone just enjoying the lovely weather. Everyone was lounging on the grass, sheltered underneath one of the trees. The two boys were playing cards while she watched them, Grim lounging in her lap.
She didn’t know when she dozed off from their game, but she became aware of something picking at her pants leg. She looks down at a cute sight: Grim, whether he’s doing it intentionally or not, was kneading at her leg. Is this the famous “making biscuits” act that cats do? His little paws were going back and forth on her leg, sometimes his claws would peek out but it would never hurt. It was super cute!

Gambling was clearly not her strong suit.
“Again?!” Dolphina exclaims as her chips get taken away by a smirking Azul. She heard about a card game called “Old Maid” and wanted to try it out. And who better to show her than someone who knows how to gamble with people’s lives! But she thought that, once she knew how the game worked, it would be easy-peasy to get a win. But that didn’t happen. Instead, for the past five games, she has won none of them. “I don’t understand it. How are you getting the better cards?” she whines.
“It’s all about luck, dear Dolphina.” he explains, shuffling the cards again. She pouts at him.
“There’s no way I’m THAT unlucky five times in a row.”
“Sometimes things do end up that way. But it’s also because you have a tell.” That made her confused.
“A tell?”
“Yes.” He sets the cards down on the table. “You don’t really hide your expressions well when playing a game. I can always tell when you have a good deck and about to put down a double.” This fact made her mortified. Was she that easy to read?! Well, that would explain the whole dorm debacle…
“That’s so unfair. I can’t even read your expressions most of the time.”
“That’s just experience.”
“Well, I’m not going to lose again!” She huffed out. “I’m going to get lucky on this round, I know it.” All Azul did was sigh as he dealt the cards. Luck has to come back around for her eventually.

It was very simple.
Lilia liked giving people a little jump. He knew how most people felt about Diasomnia as a whole, especially when Malleus arrived, so what was the harm in sneaking up on people in greeting? But just appearing behind someone normally wasn’t very interesting, so he opted to do it upside-down. It honestly got the best reactions from people and he found it quite funny himself. Everyone had a different reaction of shock when he did it.
For his fellow third years and second years, they were more used to his antics. But that also meant he recognized their faces when they do get spooked. Like his good friend Trey would get so spooked that his glasses would tilt down his nose and almost fall off his face. Or like his fellow pop music club members, Cater and Kalim; both would similarly widen their eyes and let out squeaks, but the Hearslabyul member would sigh in relief afterwards while the Scarabia Prefect would immediately laugh it off.
The first years are always the best. They don’t know of his antics, so they would be the jumpiest when he would “prank” them. Like the two Heartslabyul boys; both would jump and yell, but the red haired one would try to play it off while the dark haired boy would try to fight before realizing it was Lilia. When it came to Savanaclaw first year, his ears would go flat against his head and would yelp in surprise. The young Pomefiore boy would get spooked and let out his original dialect in creative ways. Sebek, even though he’s known him longer, would still be his favorite because the boy would always jump before profusely praising him for his abilities and “keeping him on his toes”. But it was interesting when it came to the mysterious students who had no magical powers: the Ramshackle crew. For the most part, all of them had the same reaction, jumping a bit at his arrival and little squeaks of surprise.
All except two.
The white haired one named Ambrosia always had a neutral expression on her face. But surely it would change if she was caught off guard? Nope. No matter how many times he has tried, her expression remains unchanged; she would look at him, blink a few times, and say some sort of sassy comment. Though he has noticed a slight change in her voice when it happens; it’s subtle, but her voice gets slightly higher when she’s surprised. The other person was Stella.
She was interesting. She reacted the way he expected when he first surprised their group, but the immediate aftermath was her friendly demeanor. He was taken aback; most people would be more cautious of him, some gradually warming up to him, but she didn’t seem to have that. He attributed this to some sort of naivety (and maybe there was some truth to it), but it would probably lead to more fun reactions. However, every time after that, her reactions were unique. When he would surprise her, she would let out a little “oh” before immediately relaxing seeing that it was him. Gradually, she wouldn’t even do that; instead, upon seeing him, she would just greet him like normal. Even though the fun of prank lost its purpose with her, he found it an interesting quirk from her.
For as long as he lived, there were still surprises in store for him.

It was a simple thing.
“Show it again!” Grim exclaims, jumping up and down to try and get Amelia’s flashlight. She keeps it away from him, watching him in amusement. They were sitting in their tent after their long first day of documenting students during Vargas Camp. She thought that, after spending the whole day documenting everyone and building their own tent, he would be exhausted. But instead, he was being stubborn to just go to sleep (which is a rarity). So she decided to amuse him until he felt like sleeping.
“Sit back down and I’ll show you.” She berates him gently. He immediately sits down in front of her, big blue eyes staring up at her in anticipation. Now that he was settled, she turned the flashlight on again and put the light up against her arm. With the light so close to her arm, it shined through her arm and showed the outline of her skeleton.
“That’s some neato trick there, Amelia.” he exclaims.
“It’s not so much a trick, but more like a science.” she explains. “If you have a good enough flashlight, the light will shine through the skin and show the bone inside. This is an old thing that kids did at camp and sleepovers.”
“Ohhh. It’s still pretty cool.”
“Now that you know how it works, you ready for bed?” she asks.
“Hold on! I wanna try.” Of course he did.
“I’ve never seen it done with fur before, but let’s give it a shot.” she agrees. She sets the handle on the ground and has Grim’s paws on the lens. When she turned it on, the light made the tent brighter but it did, indeed, show through his paws. Underneath his fur and skin were his little skeletal paws. Both of them looked down, both in awe. She had to admit it, it was interesting but also adorable. “Well, look at that. You can see your skeleton hands.” she muses, looking back at his awed face.
“Yeah. These are the paws of a great magician, Amelia!” he boasted, purring. She softly smiles at him. He was serious about his ambition and that was admirable.
