They definitely seem like a dime a dozen here. It’s all ego talking. I don’t even care if people see me as tough, I just want them to leave me alone. I’m not asking for too much, on the whole. It's on Netflix. It's about life in a women's prison. It'actually pretty interesting and most of the girls on it are hilarious.
I've spent all day watching Orange Is The New Black. I think I'm addicted.
Apparently it’s a foreign concept that’s completely lost on most people. You’re welcome. I know, it’s all in vain at this point but as someone that’s in a similar situation, I can empathize with you entirely. Maybe once you get everything under control you’ll be able to transfer out next year or the one after that? This has been my daily quota of positive thinking, do with it what you will. Yeah, I’ve noticed that as well. I don’t like saying much there either so I leave it to everyone else to pacify the counselor. Crossing lines is something I’m especially good at so I’ll need the reminder to back off if need be. If anything stands a chance of making this experience more bearable, I’ll take it.
I'll keep that in the back of my mind.. but the fact that you are starting to sound like a guidance consular is probably a good sign to end the topic. What happens in support, stays in support. I'd like there to one person I can talk to without having them pick my brain. Well, I'm glad to be of service. I can't promise just how bearable or fun I will be but I'll try my best.
People always seem to have a few choice words for those that are brave enough to speak their mind. I’m glad you don’t allow their comments to get to you. The world could use more strong-minded people like us in it. Laurier? Not bad at all. You don’t have to share the reason(s) why you’re not there, thought I doubt you even would. But for what’s worth, I bet you would have done really well at that school. I’m just going to assume a factor could be why you’re in group. If I’m being too much of a nosy bastard, feel free to call me out on it. I’m not so sure either. It’ll have to be one of those only-time-will-tell instances. For both our sake, I hope it’ll be beneficial somehow.
The world would be a much more enjoyable place if it were that way. Thank you.. It doesn't mean much now but it's nice to finally hear someone say that. It could be. I don't like to think about it let alone talk about it, hence why I don't speak that much at meetings. Well you haven't been too noisy yet but I'd let you know if you crossed a line. I hope so. Maybe it'll make going to school here slightly more tolerable.
It’s nice to see we have that in common then. After a while, I can accept a lost cause for being just that. But I once I get going on one of my tangents, it’s hard to reel myself back in. I’m not sure why or how confidence became such a turn off to people. A bit morbid but there’s truth in that statement. Whenever a person is forced to lock away a piece of themselves, it’s discouraging. I have enough on my plate as it. I don’t need anyone coming along and adding insult to injury which is why defend my point of view so often and fiercely. I’m sorry you weren’t able to go to yours either. What university did you have your sights set on? I was content with sweeping it under the rug, though that’s true. It’d be impossible to see each other in group and not feel obligated to show some sign of life. You’re the first person I’ve ever spoken to outside of the meetings. Now we’ll be seeing a lot more of each other thanks to this class. I figure I shouldn’t wreck your night; you’re welcome.
I get it. I;m the same way. I've been called outspoken, a smartass, cocky and a million other things I'd rather not repeat but I don't let it bother me. The only opinions who matter are to me are my own. I was hoping to go to Laurier but things change. I can say the same thing about you. I was ever planning to speak to anyone outside of the group, to be honest. I guess so. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing just yet though.
Starbucks Run || captain-dallas
Bianca couldn't tell if she was more sad or more mad at Drew at this point. She obviously knew their relationship wouldn't be easy, being so young and getting married, but she didn't think it would be this hard. It seemed like the two fought about everything to her. And they would just make up before bed but nothing ever got really fixed. Nothing seemed to help. She decided to rant a bit on Tumblr when Dallas magically replied to it. Although she knew it probably wouldn't help things with Drew, she agreed to go to Starbucks with the other boy.
Bianca quickly got dressed and ready when she gave Dallas the address. She was just pulling on her shoes when she saw him pull up outside. She smiled slightly to herself before grabbing her bag and walking out the door. She smiled lightly at Dallas as she opened the car door and got inside. "Hey Dallas." She said in her best happy voice.
I’m far too stuck in my ways to ever go about changing how I do things. It’s landing me into trouble but that doesn’t mean I’m going to back down to anyone. If it means being a pain in the ass to everyone around me, so be it. I am confident and I stand by my convictions. Everyone should be more like that. Whether or not others can handle it is of little to no concern at all to me. English is a major love of mine but I’m also passionate about film and theatre. Had life gone according to plan, I’d be at NYU for taking their courses in film studies right now. Instead I’m stuck here getting a watered down interpretation of it. Ah, there it is. The elephant in the room. I was wondering when, or even if, we’d make mention of that but I guess you’re right and I’ll spare you.
It's not that I don't fight- I'll gladly pick fights with people if I think their idiots. It's just reaches at a certain point where I understand that their stupidity is always going to over rule me in their pathetic minds so I just let them keep pretending their right. I agree. Society takes being confident as a bad thing these days and then wonders why we have so many suicides and people with low self esteem. Well, I'm sorry you didn't get to your dream school then. I know how it feels. I'd think it would be brought up at some point. Or at the very least, some uncomfortable eye contact would be made at the next meeting if it wasn't. I’ve never been too good with authority and as of late, that rebellious tendency of mine has been has been rearing its ugly head. I don’t know how everyone else can just fall in line but I’ve never been one to go down without a fight. Okay, I can live with that. I know for some people, it’s not something they can really grasp at all so I’m relieved to hear it. I guess I’m just too much of a hothead for my own good. If it’s something you’re passionate about, I’d say that it’s important. But duly noted. Do I really? I don’t even know what to do with the floor now that you’ve given it to me. I’ll probably just spend the rest of the night ranting.
I used to be the same way but then I learned I can't fight everything, at least not when it comes to authority figures or whatever. It's not necessarily a totally bad thing to be so hotheaded. It just shows you're confident. Maybe too confident for some people but confident nonetheless. I suppose you're right. But since I told you, what are you passionate about? Other than English class. Yeah, no kidding. The only thing surrounding me these days is people telling me what I can and cannot do. It’s pointless to even bitch about it but if I don’t get it out, I’ll wind up driving myself crazy. I’ll make good on it and I’m hoping your writing is at least fair. That way we won’t have to trouble ourselves too much with this course. One less thing to worry about would be ideal right about now. No, it’s fine. I get that. I just listen to 90% of what people tell me to do because it's easier to give in than to fight it at this point. English isn't my best subject but I'm not horrible so I doubt you'll have much trouble. It's fine, like I said I don't get offended easily. Especially by people I don't even know. Although I don't consider it something of importance- I'm interested in dance, anything involved with dance and you've got my undivided attention.
I’ll be sure to keep in mind that my thoughts are subject to be scrutinized on here now. It’s not a matter of thinking I’m better than everyone else. It’s just that I’m unable to see what the point to any of this is. We aren’t in high school anymore. The buddy system is uncalled for. Don’t worry; I’ll have all my assignments in on time and you probably won’t have to do much work on my papers. Great, two of the most apathetic students in the class sentenced to work together for the rest of the semester. This should be a blast.
Well, it's a harsh but true reality that we don't make the rules- we just have to follow them. The professors couldn't care less for our opinions on partners or anything else for that matter. Great, I'll expect nothing less than the best if you're as good as you say you are. I'm sorry but very little things get me hyped up, so to speak and English class isn't one of them.
