10 years of Carry On! 💚💜
Btw happy Snowbaz day to all who celebrate
Its actually the most important holiday in my culture
We traditionally light a forest on fire
Nothing says romantic reunion like blunt force trauma to the head💕
Henry Turner in Icebreaker though? 👀
I was correct about Henry being a sweetheart. I'm only page 117 out of 427 and I'm already smiling like a loon while sitting on the porcelain throne (I could not put the book down and I only started reading this today).
While I still kind of enjoyed Icebreaker, I am definitely enjoying Daydream so much more. The characters seem very relatable so far compared to the first book in the Maple Hills installation.
I started reading Daydream with literally zero expectations but Henry and Halle have me giggling and kicking my feet like every five minutes. Definitely a more enjoyable reading compared to Icebreaker and there are quite a few scenes where I feel seen

Saw a video making a joke about how they found the suspects for the Louvre heist and they showed this picture:
But it blew up and reached a bunch of people who had no idea what six of crows was so half the comments section looked like this:
everyone is saying that the Louvre heist was pulled off by the crows and only could have been planned by Kaz Brekker but lowkey it feels more like Jesper kept insisting he could plan a better heist than Kaz until Kaz finally let him plan one expecting it to crash and burn with sixteen back up plans and then Jesper’s plan actually worked
Jesper two days before: so we’ll use a *rolls dice* ladder to get in through the *pulls a paper out of a hat* second floor window where we’ll steal *throws a dart at a board* a bunch of jewelry and then ride away on scooters!
Wylan: and how will we get to the jewelry?
Jesper: …smash through the glass? Ooh! or we could use that thing that cuts holes in glass!
Nina: and what do we do with the ladder afterwards?
Jesper: …set it on fire?
Inej: and you genuinely think this is going to work?
Jesper: …yes?
Matthias: this is not going to end well
Kaz and Inej scootering away after
Inej: so you pulled some strings to make it work?
Kaz, *still reeling and incredibly confused*: …no…i can’t believe he pulled that off

Books with dragons
I did genuinely like this though
One hour of the When the moon hatched's audio book has gone by and I have QUESTIONS.
I still do not understand for the life of me what TF is going on.
Who are these people? Are they dragons? Spirits? Gods?
Is there a reason for using the term "male" every thirty seconds? TBH I am about to start a drinking game on that.
Also, why did we spent a solid ten minutes going about how bloody broad and muscular and big and tall and *insert adjective* the MC is? And when he spoke? Holy moly, I lost it after the second round of adjectives thrown together to describe how low and rumbling his voice is.
Pretty please, I do want to like this book, send help. And also please I need more explanations, CLEAR, SIMPLE explanations about what is going on.
Explain it to me like I am five, I read The hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy, I think I can manage

My humble headcanon is that Jinshi and Maomao encourage one another to do what their old selves couldn’t as kids: Jinshi probably washes Maomao's hair lovingly to compensate the years nobody cared for her, Maomao helps Jinshi to arrange a collection of his choice, something no one will ever take away from him.
