Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Usually Zevran would leave immediately after a kill. Quick and simple, kill them so they fell in a way that also took care of the body. But it was not always so clean or simple. Zevran had been tracking this particular Crow for only a few hours, a much shorter time than he was used to. This man had been his target.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Zevran reached down, twisted his dagger into the Crowās neck, and then pulled it out with a slick crunch. One less Crow.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā His attention turned to the Archon.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āI am afraid I do not know the proper address for the Archon of Tevinter, but rest assured that I have no intentions of,ā he paused, taking a moment to look down the Archonās body, and he continued his tone was slightly huskier, āharming such a handsome man.ā Zevran stepped towards the balcony, the light shining across the skull of the crow helmet he wore. One hand came up, grasped the beak, and pulled it up.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Beneath the skull was a sly grin carved on bronze features, a tattoo curving around his cheekbones.Ā āThat would be a crime no Maker could forgive. My only target was the man who was hired to kill you.ā He gestured behind him, the dead body now still.Ā āHowever, if you are inclined to express gratitude, I certainly will not stop you.ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Dorian pauses, and then lifts an eyebrow, clearly appalled. āYou āsaveā my life, and then you proposition me? Part of me is shocked, and a small part of me expected that,āĀ he grumbles, and with his magic, he lifts the body up and proceeds to send it over the balcony ledge, down into the abandoned yard. It lands directly on a hedge, and the body bounces off of the hedge and hits the ground. It seems like a practiced motion, like heās used to dumping bodies with his magic in random locations,Ā āTheyāll find him eventually, Iām sure.ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā ā...Regardless, as for the proper address, you may call me Archon Pavus for now,ā he says, clearly distrusting the man (as evidenced by his facial expression, anyways). Despite his distrust, he stays where he is on the balcony, eyes raking over the other man.Ā āI had heard him, you know. That was why I spoke. Had he not replied, I fully intended to turn around and incinerate him. He is not the first, and will not be the last to attempt to kill me. As popular as I am in certain departments, I am equally unpopular in others.ā
