Are we going to talk about how venti used to get blood sacrifices

Looking at the temple of the thousand winds lore we see it was used as a place to worship Istaroth and the thousand winds.

This was built durning the archon war as people prayed for answers. They would also act out battles to please the gods.

Which implies that they saw this creature

And thought “this thing would LOVE pretend blood sport”

Let it be known that even in these pretend fighting people were still getting seriously hurt (source: sacrificial greatsword)

They were beating the hell out of each other because they thought this women

It wasn’t t just the Imunlaukr clan being weird but the GUNNHILDRS, the most sane family Mondstadt has ever known, joined too (source: sacrificial sword).

As we know as time went and the fighting in the temple turned from pretend to real. Which also means that they saw this god

and though “yup he lives for pretend/real bloodsport”

After a while it became less about the worship of barbatos and more of the enjoyment of the nobles. Which means that mondstadt used to enjoy bloodsport and watching people die.

(These are seats, people sat and watched others die)

The only family that existed during that time that DIDN’T join in was the ragnvidrs, most likely because they were the weird family who kept to them selves

Out of all the mondstadt clans the only one who didn’t barbatos liked blood sport was the ragnvidrs who didn’t like barbatos (for a while) and liked to stay out things

The. only. reason. this guy

didn’t participate in pretend blood sport was because he HATED the gods

All of this paints a very weird picture of the mondstadtian mindset that for THOUSANDS of years they looked at their peaceful drunkard god and thought he loved the taste of blood.

Also why is istaroth called “merciless god of time” in the sacrificial fragments
