Rules

I think of these rules as my RP boundaries for this blog.

Please don't godmod my characters. You control yours. I'll control mine. If something is fuzzy on whether it's control or not, please talk with me about it before replying. We'll work it out!

I don't expect my partners to match length in replies. All I ask is that you give me something to react to. And while I don't expect any one to match length, if I give you several long paragraphs, please don't give me a one line reply. It's hard to keep excitement for the RP when it seems so one-sided. I will do the same for any of my RP partners too.

Tumblr is a hobby, not a job. I have physical and mental health issues that I often need to care for. This means that I may not be on every day and may go a week between being able to get online. I don't mind a gentle nudge if It's been more than a week since I've given a reply. And please do nudge me if you're interested in continuing that thread. Don't be afraid I'll get angry about it or anything. I just don't want anyone poking me everyday or multiple times a day.

This blog is strictly free of sexual content. I have another blog for that.

Please come discuss triggers, likes, and dislikes with me before we jump into a thread. I have several, and I want to make sure everyone is comfortable here.

Mun =/= Muse and I write in 3rd person. Things my muses say and do may conflict with my personal ideals. Please don't assume I think a certain way because my character is.

Communication is key. Don't give a thread a massive twist without discussing it with me first.

And finally, a request: talk with me. Tell me if you like our thread(s). Tell me if there's something you don't. This kind of communication helps to alleviate a lot of anxiety for me. It also ensures we're both enjoying our threads.

I may add to these rules in the future if a situation calls for it.

Suzanne (Cissie) King-Jones

Cissie doesn't have many sources to pull from, so I'll primarily be using both runs of Young Justice and her few appearances in Impulse.

Cissie was trained by her mother from a very young age to be a star athlete specializing in Archery, Gymnastics, and Martial Arts (mostly Judo).

After seeing Green Arrow and Speedy, adopted the moniker Miss Arrowette and later dropped the Miss.

Cissie develops and uses her own trick arrows.

After encountering Bart Allen, she was introduce to Max Mercury who recognized her mother's actions as abusive (forcing her to fight crime?!) and got child services involved.

When her mother, Bonnie, loses custody, she begins to attend St. Elias School for Girls and chooses to continue training.

Cissie joined Young Justice at the same time as Secret and Cassie (Wonder Girl).

After many adventures and strong friendships made, Cissie retired the mantle of Arrowette. She had nearly killed a murderer, then walked away from Vigilante life, afraid she was falling to dark, violent impulses and scared she may kill someone.

Cissie has occasionally taken the mantle of Arrowette again to help Young Justice.

My Cissie muse is considering going back to vigilante life, but only if one of her most trusted friends keeps a close eye on her.

Timothy Jackson Drake

I use a variety of sources for my Tim. Here are some key points I use to influence my take on Tim:

Tim figured out who Batman and both previous Robins were on his own.

He tracked down Dick because he wanted to help Batman and Batman needs a Robin.

Tim's home life was not very good. His parents were often absent, on vacations and adventures. When they were home, his father was aggressive and verbally abusive.

He has lost both his parents to crime after becoming Robin.

Tim initially resisted being adopted by Bruce.

He has been in a leadership role at Wayne Enterprises previously, but no longer is.

Tim's best friends are Bart Allen, Conner Kent, and Cassie Sandsmark.

He has lead teams before, but found that he feels better in a more tactical advisory role.

Tim, aware of the multiverse, has regained memories from his past and remembers most things now. (Except new 52. If you want, I can play douchebag Tim as a separate verse, but that won't be part of his main muse.)

Tim is still figuring out who he is when it comes to his gender identity (though currently he feels male is the best fit) and his sexuality (currently going with bisexual here.)

I use a variety of sources for my Bart muse. Here are some key points I use:

He is both an Allen and a Thawne.

He is a speed force conduit.

Bart was born in the 31st century and by the age of 2 looked like he was 12. To allow his mental age to catch up to his physical age, he was put into a video game simulation of the real world.

He travelled back to the late 20th century and started as a sidekick to Wally West as Impulse.

He was a founding member of Young Justice and considers all the members his closest friends.

Shortly after joining the Teen Titans, Bart was shot in the knee by Deathstroke and suffered through a reconstruction surgery while wide awake and his speedy healing interfering with the surgery.

This resulted in him having a knee cap replacement.

During his recovery, he read the entirety of the San Francisco Public Library and then took up the mantle of Kid Flash.

Conner's death nearly broke him. After all, out of all his friends, Kon was supposed the be the most indestructible.

Bart has died, but doesn't remember anything that happened while he was dead and stuck in the speed force.

He did reemerge as an adult and briefly took up the Flash mantle. He doesn't remember a lot of this.

After getting trapped in the speed force again, he came back as his teen self and resumed using the name Impulse.

Bart has travelled the multiverse and remembers a lot of it.

Bart perceives time differently from most non-speedsters. Time seems to move incredibly slowly to him.

I use a variety of sources for my Cassie muse. The key points to know are:

Cassie is a true demigod. I don't know why they felt the need to change this in Rebirth.

Initially, she used items to give her powers. Currently, she uses her own demigod powers and does not need the gear.

Her best friends are: Cissie King-Jones, Greta Hayes, Kara Zor-El, Tim Drake, Conner Kent, and Bart Allen.

She has been trained not just by Wonder Woman, but by several other Amazons too and maintains a connection to Themyscira.

She has romantic past relationships with Conner and Tim, but none currently.

Cassie was the leader of the Teen Titans for a time, but found that leadership didn't suit her and blames herself for Eddie Bloomburg's death. Since, she finds herself second guessing herself whenever she's put in a position to lead.

She has been through a lot of loss and grief in her short life and though she mostly remains upbeat, does have flashbacks of losing people she cares about.

I use a variety of sources and timelines for my Rose muse. But here are the key points I stick to:

Rose grew up in a brothel with her mother.

Deathstroke injected her with the same Super Serum that he was.

She was trained and brainwashed by her father to kill the Teen Titans.

For a time, she was trained by Dick Grayson.

Dick exposed how Slade was using her and rescued her from under his thumb.

She spent a period of time baby sitting Lian Harper for Roy.

Dick kind of dumped her into the Teen Titans when Tim was the leader.

She developed as close to a romantic relationship as she's ever had with Eddie Bloomberg.

Rose developed an addiction to an adrenaline serum that nearly killed her.

She was able to defeat Slade in combat fair and square.

Rose needed to find herself, so she left and went to Canada.

She developed a friendship with Damian Wayne while they were both in the Teen Titans.
