This is Juniper, a kholo (what gnolls they call themselves) and an oracle. I've been working on her as a character for a while now and I'd love to tell folks more about her.

I'll put some details about her in a thread here, but I'd also enjoy answering questions about her, if asked. 💙

Juniper began life as an optional NPC in a Pathfinder campaign concept, merely called GG (the Grateful Gnoll). The players could rescue her from her situation, or even convince her to help them take down the boss fight of that arc. She didn't have much development at that point.

Juniper is mute, and has been since birth. She can vocalise some sounds (specifically those formed in the mouth instead of the throat), but this is not enough to form most words. Despite this, she knows multiple languages, and the sign language variants of most of them.

A few scars are from natural wear and tear (she IS a gnoll after all), and a few were intentionally inflicted. The short explanation for the latter is that she was kept captive by a very, very unpleasant person for a long time, who kept her for her talents as a healer.

Variety and choice being things that were denied to her for a long time, she's obsessed with the massive variety of fruits available to her now, even if more than a bit at a time makes her sick (omnivore, but leans HEAVILY on meat/protein). She considers the resulting stomachaches worthwhile, however.

...Then she signs the words "there are TYPES of apple!?"

She's an oracle in that she has been blessed(/cursed) with strong divine power without the oversight of a deity or higher power. Juniper is a living portal to Creation’s Forge, the realm of positive/life energy. She can heal with a touch, or even with just close proximity; plants grow, scars fade, people feel more revitalised...

Because I am a pregnancy fetishist and I thought it'd be really cool to get pictures of Juniper pregnant!
