Don’t ever forget, skincare is just as important as weight loss. I mean you don’t wanna go through all that effort just to tackle a whole new thing stopping you from being as beautiful as I know you can be! Here’s my best tips as someone who used to be fat and full of pimples:
this is the most important one and won’t surprise you at all but when it comes to skincare, water and green tea are the best defense against bad skin. you should already be downing these two like nobody’s business, so I’ll skip to the next bit.
no fasting and try and keep your calories above 700 a day (preferably in the 1000-1200 range if possible) I know fast results are valued above all else but your body will retaliate in very uncute ways, and fasting can cause horrendous hormone imbalances, especially if you’re under 20
if you’re going to ignore #2 at least take a multivitamin, everyone should be. If you don’t your skin cells will slow their growth and regeneration so your skin will look dull and sallow, or even worse, pimple-ridden.
under every circumstance you should avoid purging. not only does it ruin your teeth, even purging once can cause absolutely horrid mouth and chin acne.
a good skincare routine is key. this means a cleanser (foaming for oily skin, oil for dry skin) a toner with no alcohol, a serum if you want (I use a hyaluronic acid serum for my dry skin and vitamin c serum to fade acne scars) a moisturizer, and sunscreen of spf 15+
