âŹurning âed
[Home⊠For a while, Anna had been returned to live her life in Japan, the life that she was meant to live before being abducted. Pain was the biggest part of that life, joy played a more minor role, but still existed in the faces of her clan. Loss had left a hole that was difficult to fill, even as the fire warmed her within. Her very own red. It was hard to accept, just like that, she had become the red king, that she followed in Mikotoâs footsteps. But with the raging inferno, it was impossible to deny.
Shoes clicked lightly against the pavement as red eyes examined the city. There was a difference in her stance between now and the previous time she had been here. Instead of the meek air, almost wanting to hide herself away, or sit like a perfect replica of a doll, she carried herself with pride. Red hues stared up at the city that hung over their heads. Curiosity had finally brought the girl to a halt. Her mind opened to the world, powers extending towards the other city to âtouchâ it. She needed to know before she acted⊠Fingers twitched and brows furrowed at the familiar sensation that washed over her. A small breath escaped and Anna let the power release instead of pushing any further. A slight throbbing pain was now filling her skull. It was different, but what she felt wasnât a first⊠At least not in this city.]
âI want to protect itâŠâ
[At this point there was no other reason to think on what it was that she sensed from the other city, the other self that reached out and touched against her very own mind. This city, despite all the bad in it, she didnât hate it. And that was enough of a reason to want it protected, especially when she made friends here.]
He hadnât been paying much attention to the happenings of the city. In fact, he hadnât been paying very much attention to anything at all. He had been afloat in a universe heâd never set his eyes upon before for quite some time now and somehow never left that initial state of shock. So when the sky transformed and reflected the ground below, Viole had no choice but to come to terms with the fact that he would always be in constant confusion, that this city would indefinitely throw something out of the ordinary at its inhabitants. And so, when he ran outside to witness a young girl extending her fingers to...boy he didnât even know how to describe it..., before he knew it, he had pushed the young girlâs hand away, breaking her contact with whatever the heck it was she was reaching out to.
âThat looks dangerous.â
He really didnât mean any harm. He simply did not know how to stop her from whatever danger it was that thing presented without physical force.
