This scene is one of my favorites! the respect 17 and Goku had for each other throughout the arc was genuine! It was very pleasing to see Goku bonding with someone other than a saiyan, him and 17 had a special bond that you don’t see Goku have often with his “ex ennemies”, they’re usually cold towards him or distant or just see him as a rival but with 17 they admired eachother’s strength, they enjoyed the presence of one another, and had fun together, in the words of 18 they trully are similair buddies!
