Fanart for the wonderful fanfic "i need a hero" by MissSanguineOus on AO3. In which Hynce, Hans' son, finds unsent letters addressed to a mysterious friend called Henry. One day, the boy takes matters into his own hands to seek out the hero he had only read about.

Henry stretched out in the bath, allowing the stress and excitement of the day wash away in the warm, scented water. Opposite him, Hans refilled their goblets, handing Henry his.

"Do you think we were subtle enough?" Henry asked, sipping the sweet wine happily. Hans waved a hand dismissively.

"What, your knighthood being the most romantic part of my wedding day?" Henry chuckled but gave a subtle nod, "no one suspected a thing."

"Aye, you and Jitka were very convincing," Henry said knowingly, sipping his wine slowly, "I'm sure you had no problem consummating your union."

Hans rolled his eyes, shuffling closer to Henry as he answered sarcastically, "yes, Henry, I'm sure we'll be blessed with an heir as soon as I can bare to leave your side."

"Speaking of consummating unions," he said with a wink, replacing his goblet on the side table before quickly pulling Hans into his lap, "I know you've been dying to call me 'Sir' since the ceremony."

"Am I that predictable?" Hans placed a hand over Henry's heart, trying his best to look innocent. Henry raised an eyebrow, gazing at Hans with a smug smile. The nobleman just shrugged, stroking over Henry's chest, "shut up, as if you're going to complain...sir."

Henry pulled him roughly into a searing kiss, the two of them smiling as they melted into each other.
