a secret they dont tell you is that you dont need to have a set time and place for exercise. sure going to the gym is gonna give you a more dedicated workout but like if you're physically able to you can just jog on the spot while your food is cooking. brushing your teeth? do a couple of squats. sometimes i drop to the floor and plank until my arms hurt and then go on with my day. if you live a sedentary lifestyle its better than nothing.
i think a lot of people say theyre gonna get fit and try to jump into a multi-hour 5 times a week workout and then burn out immidiately which is like. yeah man huge routine changes are hard. you cant just go from zero to 100. have you tried doing jumping jacks in your living room it's way easier to stick to i prommy.
So I only exercises to maintain my range of motion (chronic health conditions) but my advice for people starting esp as many of us are given exercises by physios to do at home and finding a set time to do them daily seems too much alot of the time, so don't. If like me you drink tea just run through 5 of em max in your kitchen while you wait for the kettle to boil. If you don't finish by time kettles done oh well I'm sure you'll make another tea today to finish off n if you did do it, great all done for the day. It naturally paces you and doesn't completely over take your day.
I say pick 5 as I have a whole folder of physio prescribed exercises for me to do that seems overwhelming when you look at it as a whole, so saying these are the 5 I'll try to do today while the kettle boils doesn't seem too much and gets me more in the habit of doing something rather than none at all cuz it's too much, so you can pick you number the only hard limit is if the kettles finished boiling you stop and make your tea n carry on with your day.
De hecho muy probablemente necesitaba un abrazo. Pero preferí subirle 10kg a la barra en hip thrust y seguir con mi vida.
