Everything. The original plan was for Dina to marry the old man. How were they supposed to know he liked red heads,all they knew was that he was loaded and that was enough. Dina was always perfectly fine with marrying whoever but Nina... well she needed talking into...
“She’s fine. Just tired, we did travel quite a ways from Strangeville.. Right, Nina?”
Dina was giving her the look. The don’t-you-dare-mess-this-up-for-us look but all she needed to do was mention Strangeville. They were living off gas station hot dogs, sleeping in a motel with soda stained carpets and non-functioning AC and that was luxury compared to before that.. there was no way on Watcher’s green simearth that she was going to live like that ever again.. it was her and Dina until the end.
“Sorry, so much wedding planning and so little time! I just want it to be perfect!”
“Darling, trust me, I will spare no expense to make it a dream come true.”
Dina and Consort continued discussing the guest list while Nina took comfort in the fact that he looked like his time on simearth was...limited.
It’s been a long and crazy year BUT I am working on my story again! In the meantime, here is some gameplay from this Caliente-Lothario fam that I have set up in Riverblossom Hills [separate from their family in my story]

Back at the Landgraab Estate..
“Please stop growing already, Marie, my heart cannot take both of my girls growing up on me.”
“Master Landgraab, I was hoping I could have audience with you.”
“Ah, John, yes, give me a second to put Marie to bed.”
“I purged all those files you asked of me, master Landgraab.”
“Every single one?”
“Yes sir, they were each shredded then burned.”
“John, I cannot thank you enough. Here, for your troubles.”
“Master Landgraab, I cannot take this, I was simply performing my job.”
“Please John, you’ve done a great service to this company and family.”
“Thank you very much, master Landgraab, your generosity will not be forgotten.”
“And your loyalty will not be either.”
“Is there anything else you would like me to assist you with, Master Landgraab?”
“Can you begin looking into the board members to see which ones still have...unpleasant ties? I gave them enough time to change their ways so if they have not cut such ties, please report back to me.”
“Yes, of course, Master Landgraab...If only lady Desiree knew how much you are doing for her.”
“..She must never know of this..I am changing Landgraab Industries into a real business..no shady dealings of any sort, so that she can take the helm of a company she can be proud of..”
“I will never speak a word then Master Landgraab.”
“I thank you John, now if you’ll please excuse me, I think I’ll head to bed.”
“Yes, Master Landgraab, please call for me if you need anything else.”
De: “A-ah, apologies mom but you can’t blame me for being surprised!”
M: “Desiree, you are smart, gifted, and have exceptional skills in business, you have displayed this over the years when you’ve helped me with the company.”
De: “But-”
M: “-and the board of directors agreed that you were the best fit. I won’t force you to take the position as it is a big choice, I just ask that you think about it. You won’t start right away, you would first have to go to university and gather some experience there.”
De: “What about you?”
M: “Well, I would like to retire completely in 10-15 years so I can travel the world with your mother. I feel that the company would be in safe hands if my daughter was in control of it.”
De: “But dad...are you sure everyone is alright with it...I mean technically I am only your step-daughter-”
“Di: “Desiree!”
De: “-wouldn’t people want Marie as the CEO?”
M: “Desiree, you are my daughter, who cares about blood relations, I love you all the same. I chose you because I feel like this is how it was meant to be.”
De: “....So I just need to complete university, right?”
M: “Yes. Essentially.”
Di: “You were just given early admittance to all the universities you applied for so this decision is serious.”
De: “I understand...Well...I a-accept.”
M: “Making this decision so soon, are you sure?”
“De: “I am.”
M: “Server! Bring champagne right away please!”
M: “To the future of Langraab Industries!”
De and Di: “To the future!”
M: “I must call the board right away and share the good news.”
Di: “Can’t that wait until tomorrow? Let us celebrate amongst ourselves, just for tonight.”
M: “Yes, seems I made the perfect choice, would you like a taste, darling?”
Di: “Since you offered, yes I would.”
De: “...I must remind you guys that we are in public.”
M: “And? I’m simply being affectionate with the missus.”
Di: “Let the reporters or paparazzi take as many shots as they want, your father and I look quite the pair tonight.”
De: “...Sure..so....”
M: “So..? What is it? What’s on your mind?”
De: “Um, why are we eating out tonight? You’re usually really busy with the company that the butler always takes care of our meals but you were really adamant about eating out today.”
M: “Can’t hide anything from you.”
Di: “Actually, your father had something he wanted to share with you.”
De: “With me?”
M: “Yes, it concerns the company.”
De: “Huh? The company? What do I have to do with the company.”
Di: “Desiree, just listen, you ask too many questions.”
M: “Well, that is one trait I will not discourage since it is one of the reasons she was chosen?”
De: “Chosen? Okay, what’s going on here.”
M: “Desiree, I want you to be the next CEO of Landgraab Industries.”
“Mr. Landraab, it is a pleasure to have you choose Bernard’s Botanical Dining tonight. We have your table waiting for you.”
“Yes, thank you.”
“It’s one of the best seats in the house, just for you and your family. Your servers will be right with you.”
“Right, thanks again.”
M: “..I ask them not to act all grovel-y when we come out here for dinner and they disregard my instructions.”
Di: “Honey, you are extremely influential, it’s natural for them to be slightly frightened by you.”
M: “Hmph...I suppose so..”
De: “Dad, there always going to treat us differently..”
M: “I know but I also know how much you hate that too.”
De: “I’m learning to live with it. I’ll be fine, so don’t worry too much.”
Di: “Don’t look so down, darling, things will get better over time.”
“M-M-Mr.Landgraab, my name is cynthia and I am your-your server for tonight, what would you like for your drinks? And would you like, um, a-appetizers?”
“Of course I am, if you haven’t noticed we are pretty great parents.”
“Well, I guess we are but we just had Donna not to long ago, I don’t want to overwhelm everyone...”
“We can do it, Nina. Look around us, we’ve been doing just fine.”
“...”
“And maybe I’ll leave the hospital and open a family clinic so I can spend more time raising the kids alongside you.”
“Leave the hospital?! You love your job!”
“I’m not going to stop being a doctor or anything like that. I’ve been thinking about doing this for years but now that we are doing great financially, it’s more feasible.”
“Oh, Don, I-”
“Don’t worry too much about it, we can talk more about it later, if you want?”
“Yes, yes that’s fine..my sister is going to freak when she hears the news.”
“She’ll probably complain that there are going to be too many Lotharios running around town.”
“Our genes are too golden not to pass on multiple times.”
