drawing process. started in yellow, then yellow orange, then dark pink, then violet

then we hit it with dark blue and purple. Then light pink, neon green, and teal. I burnish (super layer till smooth) neon pink into the blue of the ground and the windows. I layer the neon pink over the green in the window behind their head to make it submit to the color scheme more. In the final pic, I thought Id include a version where my lamp spotlights it interstingly

drawing kitty cartoons yesterday! plus a blue puppy and a pink panda! never drawn kitties like this before but I really enjoyed it and I'm happy with how they came out.

the brown kitty could use a thicker outline but holding the lineart pens too tightly made the tip of one of my fingers go red with an indent yesterday, so it can wait for now

been a months since i worked on this so I'm happy to have been making a lot of progress today! this is two hours of work sitting at my easel using acrylic paint

you gotta imagine the kandinsky a little cropped to see my vision because i cant fit all of the original in :(

im really proud of my progress today

using additive color on top of my old sketch that I covered in white was a great plan of attack to get through this piece in quick time

focusing on adding white to fix proportions at first. then working on the red placements.

painting progress on my kandinsky art study. i think the accuracy is looking good! im proud! especially since i didnt use grid lines or sketch it at all.

progress last nite on the kandinsky study was just small alterations to improve the compositions accuracy to the original piece. looking much better and more dynamic

this was a less than half hour sketch in a room that slowly got darker and darker. started sketch in blue only, then added red and black. completed almost an hour ago
