if u clicked to keep reading, thanks! to to summarize: now that miss b is on a more expensive vet prescribed food, we have to spend $27 a month on her kibble, and approximately $40 on her wet food. her iv bags are $72/month, and we need to restock on flea preventative and cat safe flea killing soap/sprays for in case we find any on her. we also still need to buy food (not cheap since my most reliable form of nutrition is $23 for about a weeks worth), shit to deep clean our house, and a ton of other things! its frustrating that neither of us have had any luck w jobs and i likely wont even hear back or see spots starting to post positions i can do until later this month as stores start prepping for holiday crowds. im fortunate that for the time being miss b's health has stabilized a lot so we dont have that to worry about as long as we make sure she gets her fluids when she needs it among other things. i am truly grateful for all the support from folks, and hope that some time soon i wont need to be on here begging as much.

Darn it filled up. I gotta share my favorite bug story still so here it goes:

So I'm a Floridian who loves the Southwest. I grew up watching all those silly Hollywood movies where tarantulas are supposedly very evil human killers. I knew it was fiction but I can imagine how those movies can give them a bad rep. Anyway, fast foward to a vacation in New Mexico somewhere between Artesia and Roswell, in the middle of nowhere, endless road, we drove over (without harming, it went under the car) a tarantula. We of course had to turn back around take a closer look. Was the cutest tarantula crossing the road. It even stopped to look at us with its beady eyes. Was so adorable. I will never forget how badly I wanted to keep it as a pet.
