                    A sleepy dragon was often a grumpy dragon, especially when that beast was mingling between the realms of ‘asleep’ and ‘awake.’ Toothless had been nodding off for quite some time now, leaving him more than simply out of touch with the reality around him.

                   He was relaxed, of course. Why be tense when one was a night fury? Only a small twitch of one of the ear-like appendages atop his crown indicated that he had heard a sound, albeit far too small to fully stir the dark dragon.
