Elias/Jonah is such a funny character. He wants to be a god. He wants to live forever. He loves spreadsheets and budgeting. He named his ritual the Watcher’s Crown of all things. He doesn’t like getting involved, only watching. He did shoot an old woman and beat an old man to death with a pipe, though. He was so attached to a man that he keeps his bones in his office. He’s been gouging out his own eyes so he doesn’t die of old age. He gets beaten up by Jonathan Sims, of all people, who is practically the universe’s punching bag. He really likes cake and will show up to all the office birthday celebrations so he can get a piece. Am I missing anything?

I like to think that og elias had a gap between his front teeth that he didn't really care about because... well, he didn't really care about much things. and when jonah took his body he smiled in front of the mirror for the first time and realized that he didn’t like it. but decided that it was better this way than if the director of the magnus institute at his 30s (i guess??) would wear damn braces.

that's why i draw he like this. idk, I think it's very funny... 😭😭😭.

p.s. maybe i want to talk about elias for a hundred hours because i love him but i have no one to talk to.

Sometimes I think about the brutal pipe murder and how we never ever see Elias use violence ever again (physical, that is, obviously, he does lots of mental violence, I wouldn't take that away from him). Even when his dream world is threatened at the end, even when HIS LIFE is threatened, his actual life that he has doomed the world for, he does not use violence

which leads me to believe that literally the only thing that made him so impulsive was that Jon was learning stuff from someone other than him or his own painful experiences or the eye. He did not like that Jon's perspective of the world was shifted by somebody else at all. He killed Leitner only because he was like! no! no! Jon's mine! I get to decide what he sees, what he knows, what he understands!

He'd have tried killing Gerry if Gerry wasn't dead I bet. Would have burnt his page if Jon hadn't decided to do it. Or, well, no, cause that would have been a kind thing to do to Gerry and he might have been too curious and not willing to go through the pain to do it, so maybe he would have just stolen the page from Jon.

in any case. Im soo normal about it.
