It’s headcanon Friday, and today’s take is that Jonah Magnus is multilingual, not due to any supernatural influence, but because it’s an incredibly useful skill, so he sat down and fucking learnt.

TMA headcannon
A lot of people Headcanon Jon as needing glasses but stops needing them when he becomes, but what if it’s the other way around?
Maybe he didn’t always have 20/20 vision but not bad enough to need glasses.
But once he Becomes, he suddenly doesn’t need is real eyes as much. He can just Know his surroundings without realizing that’s what he’s doing. Slowly his real eyesight starts to go. He needs glasses to use the real eyes but his supernatural senses are sharper than ever.
By the time the eyepocalylse happens he’s practically blind but it doesn’t matter because he knows everything. He doesn’t need to see, he Knows where he is and what’s around him.
Maybe he doesn’t even realize until he’s at Salesa’s.
i think michael and jon both love custard creams, but jon is a little shy about it because he sees them as less "grown up" than biscuits like shortbread or plain digestives, but as soon as michael notices he likes them it'd absolutely buy him sleeves of them just so he can keep them in his desk and eat them in private.
also tim likes bourbons, sasha likes jammie dodgers, and martin likes butter shortbread. elias isn't allowed to take from the archives break room biscuit tin after he ate half of them because of his munchies one time.
the Magnus institute is full of 360 security mirrors
Every corner you can see everything. It's so secure,,
TMA Headcannons! (TW: financial insecurity, homelessness) (Please correct me if I missed any facts from the series!)
- The institute does not pay well at all, and each character has a different strategy to combat this
- Elias has generational wealth and does not need money
- Sasha has a well-off family that gave her a good base to start out with, but she still keeps a strong budget (financially literate queen)
- Martin also has a budget, but didn’t have as strong a base to start out with. He can only tip servers 15%, which makes him feel overwhelmingly guilty
- Tim has a side gig, something like website coding or video editing. This helps him afford his large purchases of Hawaiian shirts
- Jon cannot budget for the life of him. Financial literacy of a cat. He has a very small apartment during the series, but before then has struggled with homelessness (living in a car or couch surfing)
jon was in a bollywood dance team in college send tweet
martin can fade into the background very easily if there's two other people in the room. they'll talk to each other and he can just be a presence they can acknowledge if they want, but he won't push them to. but if it's only him and someone else, he'll get rambly. he doesn't like the awkward silence because it's just a reminder that on his own, no masking, he's not likable or enjoyable to be around. so he'll try to seem nice and friendly and useful and everything else he isn't enough of. ultimately, both of these are a result of him desperately not wanting to be a burden on the people around him
Hiii decided to anonymously send you a headcanon because why not
Jon went from No Eye Contact to Uncomfortable/Really Intense Eye Contact. He did not realize the change until someone pointed it out and and THEN he started making an effort to not look people in the eye
oh thats fucking awesome. personally i hc him as having to force himself to make eye contact until Becoming which i think still falls under this a bit. hell yeah
