Remember that stupid thing I drew of Jon using his eyes as a flashlight? Well I decided to digitalize it and this is the result.

You can't tell me this shit didn't happen at least once in canon. Martin for sure tied him to a stick and used him like a metal detector but with light.

I like to imagine that a year or so into jon and martin’s relationship (ignoring canon lalalalala) jon suddenly starts to realize that a bunch of little fun facts he knows about martin are completely false. martin is a compulsive liar and just says anything sometimes.

like jon starts buying a bunch of things for him in his “favorite color” and finally martin has to go “ahhhhh i just told you that was my favorite color because I thought you’d find my actual favorite weird 😬” and jon is like “????????? What?????”

I’d like to think that once Gerry realized that Gertrude did not give a single smidge about what the archives looked like, he started pulling these kinds of shenanigans.

Martin calls John ‘Antichrist’ which means that stronger avatars could be equated to something like that. Georgie and Melanie aren’t avatars but they aren’t regular humans either, so we can probably call them anti-avatars.

If John is an avatar and can be called an antichrist, and Georgie and Melanie are the anti-avatars and therefore can be called the anti-Antichrists we can deduce that their opposing position to John would in fact make them Jesus

Jon being an undiagnosed neurodivergent and being told his behaviors were bad as a kid. His grandmother basically trying to train him out of it. Fast forward the Archives are worse for his sensory issues. Bright overhead lights, the assistants playing music, uncomfy work clothes (all head cannons). No wonder he likes to work at night when he can loosen his tie a little and turn off the overheads to replace it with a lamp. A little dash of insomnia doesn't help with his work habits.

jon looks a lot like his father and his grandmother is deeply bitter about it because it feels like the universe is trying to replace her son with him. alternatively he looks a lot like his mother and his grandmother hates it because it feels like the universe is erasing her son. either way jon can’t fucking win

My best (worst) tma headcanon is that in mag 200 when Jon struts up to Jonah/Elias in the Panopticon and he tells the Eye to "release him," the Eye doesn't just release Jonah from it's grasp, it also releases Elias from Jonah.

So then we get a very confused, very disoriented Elias, sort of Separating away from Jonah over the next few minutes.

It starts with a very confused Elias, not really understanding where he is or what's happening

Then it flips back to Jonah, attempting to maintain control and Villain Monologue as is his prerogative as a melodramatic asshole

Then it's back to Elias, realizing he's about to die and not understanding why or what's happening, only that Jon is about to kill him and that he's Scared.

And finally, once again Elias, dying but in his final moments wishing Jon luck with whatever it is he's doing, not fully understanding the scope of things, but understanding what Jonah was and what he had done, and understanding that they had to die for it all.
