Not to be a complete stalker (just a big fan!) but I actually do remember you from 2017,2018, and back then you claimed that your daverose art was STRICTLY platonic. What changed?

hahaha it’s remarkable someone remembered this. nothing changed, i was just trying to dodge getting cancelled or whatever. i was trying to walk that thin line publicly which i’ve always regretted bc i was obsessively looking at everyone’s dedicated daverose/dersecest blogs and wishing i could join in

actually remembering this now is so embarrassing. i was srsly trying to have my cake and eat it too! i rly wanted to be part of the greater fandom bc a lot of rly good work was being made (was the hs renaissance worth it in the end? <- discuss) but i just wanted to draw my otp!! i thought answering that ask would shut down the accusations but it didn’t matter what i did lol just drawing dave and rose standing next to each other was enough to have my inbox flooded…tch
