The 10 Blocks That No One Ever Leaves (And Why)
New Student Orientation Program (NSOP) is just 10 days away, so in anticipation we are featuring some of the most notable locales on the 10 blocks that make up the neighborhood!
1. Â 110th- Insomnia Cookies and Chipotle. Why walk any further?
2. 111th- Tea Magic (aka bubble tea aka life aka everything).
....oh and Duane Reade. You know, that place you buy literally everything ever at (before you realize that Rite Aid is cheaper).Â
3.112th- MILANO’S. H17. The Sandwich crafted from the fires of Hephaestus and arranged so that with one bite you’ll  be as in ecstasy as Bernini’s Saint Theresa .
4.113th- Nussbaum & Wu, bagels and smoothies, because is it actually worth it to travel to Absolute Bagels?
5.114th- STARBUCKS THAT IS OPEN UNTIL 2AM. (This is also where Columbia campus starts and frat row lies).
6.115th- Morton Williams- 24 hour market across the street and the BEST (or maybe just the most convenient) Halal cart around campus.
7.116th- BARNARD WAY. YOU MADE IT HOME BBY. Also if you go down this street, you can directly enter Riverside park with a bike (or just your feet).
8.117th- The entrance to the Barnard Gates.
9.118th- Walk through Lehman Lawn and bask in the glory of Maggie the Magnolia tree. BASK IN IT. SHE’S BEAUTIFUL.
10.119th- Enter campus through here to reach the side entrance of the Diana and Milbank, or go across to Columbia for some Joe’s (coffee).
121st onwards- DOESN’T EXIST. The world is 110th through 120th (aka the MoHi (i.e. Morningside Heights) bubble). Get ready, cause you belong here!
