This article reflects much of my thinking on watches and wearables in general. It’s difficult to come up with a concise answer for what they are good for, because they are good for different things for different people. There’s no one app that will click for everyone that can be summarized in a few words.
That being said, if the Internet of Things gets off the ground, I think the watch will be a far better remote than the phone in a way that clicks for most people.
