I am very behind, but I’ve been doing inktober for the first time this year, and I picked dog breed portraits as my personal theme. I’m 16 days behind because I’m applying for a post-graduate at the moment, but I have time to catch up now so expect more dogs soon!

Happy 2015! M first post on Nuclaire Art for the new year, so say hello to also my first character design for an as yet untitled web comic about roller derby!

MacKenzie "Big Mac" Scott, or 'Mac'.  I had a lot of fun with this. I had a lot of fun divulging in the development of my own style, and making up clothes and hair and being a bit fantastical about features and characteristics and all those lovely things.

The plan is to design the main character next, Rae. Now that I'm a million times more confident in how things are gonna look for this comic, at least in terms of the characters.
