"The Hollow Maid"

Backstory:

Cynesiðe is the soul that inhabits the hollow body of a housemaid (not her own).

The original owner, a housemaid working for a high nobleman, accidentally locked herself in a manor basement and was never found. Shortly before she died, she swore revenge on the owners because she believed her cries for help were deliberately ignored.

In response, the soul Cynesiðe offered her a pact to take care of that for her in exchange for her body. After consenting, the original owner of the body passed away, and Cynesiðe took over.

But Cyn had imagined things differently... With the new body, she was significantly weaker than expected. Because of this, she only managed to break free once the door hinges had already rusted through, long after the noble family had moved out and the original masters of the house had passed away.

Since then, Cynesiðe has been desperately searching for their descendants to fulfill her contract and rid herself of this restrictive body.

Despite everything, Cyn is quite clever, cheeky, and a know-it-all. She doesn't like to needlessly hurt others unless it serves the fulfillment of her pact. Nevertheless, she practices the art of intimidation. Other than that, she pretty much doesn't care about anything.

Additionally, habits of the old brain constantly creep into Cynesiðe's own. For example, Cyn HAS TO clean up obvious stains or greets guests of a house, even if it isn't her own.

What Cynesiðe doesn't know is that the targets of her pact no longer exist, and she will be bound to this body forever, until either she or the body is destroyed.
