Modern au maomao would get tattoos so she can test some remedies for healing. Most are random or basic designs. Her tattoo artist kinda hates her cus the first few tattoos didn't heal well from her tests but at least the remedies get better every time.

The LN 6 cover is sadly the best design for this card and I don’t think I can beat it

Love the balcony scene in LN9 cus its funny and cute but also cus the comparison between jinshi and loumen hit hard. Maomao reallyyy doesn't like the idea of the 2 people she deeply cares for being this self destructive and the fact that she probably will always have a tiny bit of responsibility for their health cus they won't take care of themselves properly. Resentment was building up for quite a while for her to actually say it.

Also makes me think of loumen's approvel of this relationship long term because he was disappointed when she wanted to venture outside being just an apothecary and that only happened as it did because of jinshis 'encouragement' (if u wanna call it that). He's traditional enough and worries about her and I doubt he appreciates the developments
