Itachi sat in front of the ocean as usual, lost in his own thoughts, only this time, they were about you. The way that your radiant smile seemed to light up an entire room with just a flash. The fact that you knew about the ninja world, and the war that came with it, but you still never failed to smile and be kind to everything around you. It was just beautiful. He had been watching you for a bit, noticing how you would stop by and pet homeless animals, giving them food and kisses before you walked off with slight sadness for the animal. Before he could stop himself, he found himself pretty much stalking you to see what kind of good deed you would do for those around you. God, you were so beautiful in every way. It made him smile just seeing you smile. And finally, after a long time of waiting, he finally decided to meet you and tell you how he felt.

As you were about to leave, Itachi gently grabbed your wrist and led you back to the bathroom. He rinsed the cloth with warm water, and started softly rubbing your face, removing all of the makeup. You grunted in irritation but he just clicked his tongue and hummed softly and poked your nose.
"You're beautiful just the way you are, Y/N." He said with a gentle voice. Your lip quivered as you shook your head and tried to free your makeup from his grasp, which he held up high.
"Give it back!" You grunted in frustration. He gently shoved you away and placed a hand on your shoulder.
"It's okay to be yourself, Y/N. Why do you wish to impress others so badly?" He asked with gentle eyes. You averted your gaze and said nothing, trembling ever so slightly. He smiled softly and wrapped you in his arms while stroking your head and cooing at you.
"It's okay, Y/N. I'm here."
