Whenever you expect perfection from yourself or others you are setting yourself up for failure and disappointment. Perfection is not attainable. Simply try your best and even if you mess up look at it as a learning experience.

Dua of the Day
Every successful person has a painful story & every painful story has a successful end. Ya Allah, distance us from shame and failure, Ya Allah, destroy every evil plan against us and our families, Ya Allah, answer all our prayers, Ya Allah, put us among those with successful end, Ya Allah, provide us with what will be of benefit to us, and what others will benefit from us.

Weekend Hashtag Project: #WHPlikealocal
Weekend Hashtag Project is a series featuring designated themes and hashtags chosen by Instagram’s Community Team. For a chance to be featured on the Instagram blog, follow @instagram and look for a post every week announcing the latest project.
This weekend, the goal of #WHPlikealocal is to celebrate what you love about where you live. Share hidden gems. What are the best and most beautiful spots in your city only a local would know? Let us in on the best-kept secrets.
Celebrate everyday scenes. Show us your daily activities that are unique to where you live — like rising early with animals on a farm or boarding a crowded city train at sunset.
Honor the legends. Is there a local baker who mixes up your all-time favorite treat? A muralist who gave your downtown’s walls a makeover? Make images of the people who love your town, and make it a great place to live.
PROJECT RULES: Please add the #WHPlikealocal hashtag only to photos and videos taken over this weekend and only submit your own visuals to the project. If you include music in your video submissions, please only use music to which you own the rights. Any tagged photo or video taken over the weekend is eligible to be featured next week.
[Al-Mu'akhkhir/The Detainer/The One who defers] Allah, most exalted, detains the unbelievers on the Day of Judgement, and keeps them at a distance from His Forgiveness and Mercy. “So the shriek seized them in truth, and We made them as [plant] stubble. Then away with the wrongdoing people.” ‎﴾23.41‬‎﴿‬ This is a just punishment because when His Light has come to them in the Messages of the Prophet, they have stayed far away from it: “Those who do not believe - in their ears is deafness, and it is upon them blindness. Those are being called from a distant place.” ‎﴾‬‎41.44﴿‬ In this life people are sometimes detained and held back, by the will of Allah, from attaining whatever they want whenever they want. The timing of events is His privilege. Most important of all, is the timing of the person’s death. “For you is the appointment of a Day [when] you will not remain thereafter an hour, nor will you precede [it].” ‎﴾34.30‬‎﴿‬ When the evil-doers are chastised and they know that their end has come, they cry to their Lord, “Our Lord, delay us for a short term; we will answer Your call and follow the messengers.” ﴾14.44‬‎﴿‬ Allah may indeed choose to give respite but it for Him all alone to give it; no other authority can alter His terms or modify them. Out of His infinite wisdom Allah most often defers punishing the guilty. Other instances in point are the after effects of things, and reward and punishment for our actions. His deferring of certain things is part of His broader scheme.
Day 1359 - Hers Anonymous — “My best friend Zoe taught me to just live life happy — if a plan or goal doesn’t work out that is totally ok and nothing to be sad about. You just need to step back and figure out a new plan and go and chase it.”
Know that if people are impressed with you, in reality they are impressed with the beauty of Allah’s covering of your sins.
