talking about family death

Earlier this week I found out a cousin of mine died. He was a few years older than me, and we were never that close, but I remember him always around especially throughout my childhood.

I vividly remember being in his room playing Super Mario Bros on his SNES. I remember going roller skating every year for his birthday every year. I remember trying to learn skate boarding because I saw him skating. I remember seeing him running around with the older kids during camping trips.

I saw him less as an adult, but sometimes he would come around and ask for paper and markers to draw. I still have a Gengar drawing he drew in one of my sketchbooks.

Today was his funeral. idk I just feel like writing about today. My thoughts. I feel so awful for his mom and his siblings. It feels so unfair. He should still be here. I feel tired. I feel so sad.
