||Lost and Found |Giovanni &Marissa||
“Of course it’s alright.” Her voice was velvety and sent shivers up Giovanni’s spine. Her touch was gone too soon as she went into the room and threw herself on the couch much faster than Giovanni thought possible given her current state. He stepped through the doorway and couldn’t help but take her in. Her beautiful red hair, framing an even more beautiful face. He liked how his jacket looked on her — he’d like anything on her, as long as it was what she really wanted to wear, which reminded him why they were there.
She motioned for him and he walked forward, leaning down and kissing her forehead. He wanted to kiss her all over, but now wasn’t the time. Giovanni moved her legs and sat down on the couch, placing her legs on his lap. It didn’t escape him that this was the first time they had ever really been alone in private. He ran his palm over her shin, keeping his hands below her knees. “So…what’s this about,” he said, nodding to her dress, if you could even call it a dress. He looked up into her eyes. “Why are you giving them what you think they want?”
Marissa felt her forehead, as if there was a mark from where Giovanni had kissed her. There was still heat trapped in her face, she probably looked stunned. It had been a long time since someone had been that affectionate with her, and the that person had poison behind his smile, none of that mans sweet nothings didn’t come with a cost. Sometimes she caught herself thinking all men where like that, that there was a price to be paid with the face and name she was given at birth. She smiled with the irony of how the son of one of the most feared families in the world could be so sweet behind closed doors. Even in his harshness with her, he was kind. That was something Marissa would always be drawn towards like a bug pokemon to light. She closed her eyes and let her body feel the vibrations and sensations that Giovanni seemed to activate.
It took Marissa a couple of seconds to process the words Giovanni was saying to her, his voice came across like a deep hum that she needed to decode, which proved to be difficult with the way he was caressing her skin. There was nothing sexual about how his fingers glided on her calves but the burning sensation it gave off was the same feeling one would get slowing themselves dipping into a warm bath. Marissa wanted to be fully submerged in him. “Hmmm...” was almost humming herself as she tried to think of the words to say back. She found herself scooting closer to Giovanni, letting her legs move across his lap. “What difference does it make?,” She said, letting out a breath and taking the boys hand. Marissa started to trace the lines that flowed across his palm with her fingertips, it was too dark to see them so she had to feel them. “They take it anyway. At least when I do this it’s on my terms,” She tried to sound sure of herself when she spoke but there was a lot of hurt coming up from places forgot about. Those words were empty and Giovanni probably saw right through that. She turned, so she was facing the ceiling. “I wish more men were like you...” the nurse trainee said as let her hand wander up his arm. Marissa smiled, looking at Giovanni and holding a stare for a moment before pulling him down so he was over him. “You can take me if you want to,” she said, her hands gliding up his chest, “I wouldn’t mind. In fact, it would be my gift”. Her hands wandered up his body until one was around his neck pulling him close and the other caressed his face, the whole time she looking in his eyes. There was something wrong with her stomach, butterflies, heat, something was moving and she tried to keep it down, her fast heart beat was only making thing worse.
Not bad.
They have a sick bar for such a lame party.
Maybe you should take your drink and leave then?
One Night in The Maze || Sebastian and Marissa
Sebastian followed behind Marissa, his heart beating against the walls of his chest, as they stumbled around the narrow corridors of the maze in search of a space disappear into. As loose as his body felt, no amount of liquor could calm his nerves. If anything, it made it worse. This was Marissa Joy he was currently holding hands and running around dark corners with. He’d been waiting for this moment almost since the day he’d met her.
They stopped abruptly and Sebastian looked up to see a dead end in front of them. He was getting so close…
“Garrett’s invites said there should a lever to pull…” he remembered, running his free hand up and down the adjacent wall until he hit a cold metal rod. “I found it.”
He pulled and suddenly there was soft rumbling noise. The wall in front of them shifted to reveal the space they’d read about on the invitations. This was it, he thought, as he stared forward. He wanted this and for some reason he couldn’t quote figure out, Marissa did too. It was practically fate, right?
“Are you ready?” he asked, not sure if he was talking more to Marissa or to himself at this point. It didn’t really matter as they walked into the space, the walls moving back into position behind them. There was no turning back now…but why would he want to?
Marissa’s head was pounding before she ran into Sebastian, in fact, she was in pain in more ways than one. The poor girl had a rough night, and was not in good spirits by the end of it. That would teach her to take pills from strangers, drink over her limit, and trust Giovanni Razzo. Her head started to pound just at the thought of him. The jerk left her practically pasted out in her own vomit. If Jade hadn’t found Marissa and cleaned her up who knows what kind of state she would have been in. If anything was clear by at the end of it all it was that Giovanni was through with Marissa. She felt humiliated and something else, something that felt like someone had stabbed her in the chest. It hurt and she wanted to numb the pain.
After much convincing Marissa got Jade to let her go back to the bar and so she could consume more alcohol to make up for what she lost. She waited around and got a drink or two, bummed some mint gum and started to feel utterly hopeless. That’s where Sebastian came into play. He came out of no where and immediately cheered Marissa up, as per usual. They talked and flirted, something that seemed to happen with them ever since they met. Marissa wasn’t sure what that attraction was about and she wasn’t sure if she was ever going to find out. When the room started to get a little hazy Sebastian asked her to go to a secret room with him. She said yes without a second thought. Sebastian had always been such good friend to Marissa, she loved the idea of getting away from all those people and going somewhere quiet with him.
Marissa walked down a different part of the maze that she’d never been to until they found a dead end. Sebastian found a lever and asked if she was ready. Wait a minute, why was he asking if she was ready? Ready for what? To see inside the secret room? Maybe he didn’t know that she had already been in one, but she didn’t want to tell him and ruin his night. Marissa didn’t want to let down his excitement so she just looked up and nodded with a smile on her face.
They stepped in the room, this one looked similar to the one that Marissa had been in before except instead of colorful lights across the room, the whole thing was black, and there were little lights all along the ceiling that looked like tiny stars. As the wall slid shut it showed that the room had a tiny glow from the little stars above them. Marissa smiled looking up at them, “this is beautiful....” she said as she walked into the room by the couch.
As Sebastian walked closer and stood close behind her the mood shifted in the room, something told her that he didn’t want to just talk. Marissa knew that she shouldn’t be surprised, it was obvious Sebastian had a crush on her. It probably didn’t help that he was a boy and she was dressed in a slutty nurse Joy costume. It wouldn’t be a lie to say that Marissa felt something for him as well. Why wouldn’t she? He was cute, funny, kind and caring, the natural choice for a Joy. A lot of her relatives would marry the professors of their small towns, it wasn’t uncommon. That was Marissa’s problem, she was uncommon. She had tried fitting in and it didn’t work, she tried rebelling and it didn’t work. Maybe she just wasn’t giving it her all either way? Maybe she needed to go all in and try the right choice for once. Marissa had thought about something happening between them for awhile now and thought it could be nice. All of her reasoning seemed sound even if things were still kind of hazy. If anything, she thought Sebastian was the one getting the bad end of the deal. Marissa knew she should feel lucky that Sebastian picked her. So she turned to look at him, stood on her toes to give him a chaste kiss. Then after a moment she deepened the kiss, drawing him in towards her, pressing her body close to his.

giovanni-razzo:
Giovanni took Marissa’s hand and started leading her further into the maze. They passed people dancing, drinking, grinding, kissing. The deeper they went, the more disheveled people became. They passed people going off to their own dead ends and the rooms hidden there.
His heart felt heavy in his chest; like it was beating slightly faster than usual. His cheeks felt flushed and breathing hard — probably a product of the drinks and pills he’d had. He was probably not in the best state of mind for a heart-to-heart with Marissa, but if not now, when? Things were different right now, she was different. This could be the night where everything changed. They reached the end of a maze passage and Giovanni felt around for the the lever that was supposed to reveal the secret room. Before he lifted it, he turned back to Marissa, who hadn’t said a word the entire time they walked. “Is this alright?”
Marissa felt like she was floating and had pins and needles at the same time. Some part of her wondered if that that’s how Giovanni made her feel or if it was the drugs she took earlier. It was the drugs, but there was no doubt the feeling in her chest was caused by Giovanni. She gripped his hand tighter and forgot about all the eyes watching them as they floated through the maze, she didn’t even care if it got back to Wynona herself. Marissa had an issue with her last name, that was obvious, but it even came down to the meaning of it. Joy, noun, a feeling of great pleasure and happiness. Marissa found that her joy was a hard thing to catch, it was constantly slipping through her fingers. She started to question if she even wanted to feel it at all, she certainly couldn’t grasp ahold of any that night. It was like Giovanni somehow knew this because he caught it for her and placed it into her palm with his. And with that he lead her through the wonderland of colors and sensory that both excited and frightened her, she could be lost around him without having to worry about never being found.
Before she even realized it, Marissa and Giovanni had stopped and he was asking if it was okay if they were to go in. The Joy Trainee looked up at Razzo and smiled, “Of course it’s alright,” she almost purred as she leaned over and embraced the arm that connected to the hand she was holding. Marissa then reached up and pulled the lever herself. Normally someone would star at the wall moving and the new room being revealed, but Marissa had her eyes closed, she was taking him the scent of the man next to her, it was intoxicating.
They walked in the doorway and when Marissa looked up she was entranced by the colorful lights overhead. There was a single futon in the middle of the room that was a deep red, as the pair walked towards it the wall slid back into place. All it took was one look at that futon for Marissa’s legs to move on their own. She went face first in those cushions, curled up and let out a huge breath. She was laying down but it still felt like she was falling, then it turned into her floating. Her body felt numb, her mind felt numb. She closed her eyes and imagined sleeping for a hundred years, with her Munna next to her. Marissa had a hard time getting restful sleep and her Munna was the only thing that could take away the nightmares. She glanced over to the boy standing across the room and waved him over with one finger. It was them alone now, a place were the walls didn’t have eyes and they could maybe be themselves for once. That would be if Marissa wasn’t too far gone and knew which self was her actual self.
I’m lost and I don’t want to be found.
They can hardly be trusted to remember anything, especially that.
Oh yeah? What did you have in mind?
We could conjoin forces.
I’m lost and I don’t want to be found.
Eh, just flirting here, making out there. There hasn’t been enough for an update really. Tonight might be change things though…
You’re going to take it to the next level?
Does Garrett know?
I have to say, the lights were a nice touch-
Giovanni.
Let’s uh- let’s get you to a bathroom to clean you up, okay?
... Okay..
I’m lost and I don’t want to be found.
*laughs* You didn’t have to waste your girlish charm. I could’ve gotten them.
That’s a pretty good idea actually. Maybe after a few drinks I might just have to. She won’t like it, but it’ll be worth it.
I see, you’re starting to like getting drinks. Well then, don’t let me stop you.
It may sound like an even better idea the more you drink. Tell her it’s like cough syrup.
I have to say, the lights were a nice touch-
Who did?
Giovanni.
I have to say, the lights were a nice touch-
That’s true….
Can you remember what happened?
Um..
He left, he’s done with me.
I’m lost and I don’t want to be found.
Awesome. I think I’m ready for another one.
Meredith would definitely kill me if I did that, but it would probably help us all out in the long run. It’s okay if it’s for the greater good right?
That’s the spirit! Here, I’ll get those guys over there to get us some with my girlish charms.
I think you should use that time they are locked in there to run away. But yes, sometimes the ends justify the means.
I have to say, the lights were a nice touch-
That’s me. You remember my name, so that’s a fairly good sign.
But I think it was more than just bad pills.
Of course I would remember, you’re one of the few girls on campus with red hair that isn’t a Joy.
Yeah...it was...
I’m lost and I don’t want to be found.
If liquor can help us figure out how to do that, bring it on! Yes, this has been going on for years. If they aren’t going to work it out, the least they could do is just ignore each other
That makes me feel a little better. No problem.
Hell yeah! Bring on the drinks! Maybe you should lock them in one of these hidden rooms when she comes around and keep them there until they can work out their problems?
I have to say, the lights were a nice touch-
Marissa?
…What happened?
..Jade?
Oh you know...must have been some bad pills..
I have to say, the lights were a nice touch-
…Is that vomit?
Yeah...sorry...
I’m lost and I don’t want to be found.
Of course! Probably have to remind them there the most honestly,
*laughs* Ain’t that the truth? I show you a little interest, and suddenly you start losing all of you braincells and start resorting back to primal instincts.
And they still forget it?!
I say it’s time we give them all a little wake up call.
