Okay, I don’t want to be a buzzkill, but it’s really starting to get my goat seeing folks who are absolutely old enough to know better romanticising the Internet circa 2000. Like, yeah, the Internet was smaller and less commercialised twenty years ago, but it was absolutely not a friendly place. You want to know what the Internet circa 2000 was like? There were popular Flash videos memeing on photos of Nazi death camp victims, and the latest viral trend was tricking people into looking at a high-resolution image of a man’s gaping anus. True, there was some great stuff, too, but acting like it was Hamster Dance and Homestar Runner as far as the eye could see is a pretty severe mischaracterisation.

Vent//CW:abuse, pedophilia, overall nastyness of the school system

I am personally disgusted by how my school is treating the fact i was sexually abused by a teacher. They just won't listen it's soo disgusting i hate how they are just looking away from the fact that there is LITERALLY A FUCKING CHILD ABUSER WORKING WITH CHILDREN.

For context during the year of 2019 one of the chemistry teachers sexually abused during the entire year and part of this year, 2021. Not only innapropiate touching of my body but various other acts and sexual comments she did that i would rather not explain on detail.

At the end of the year i got diagnosed with schizophrenia, note this was during the time were i started talking about the abuse with my psychologist, she told the school and even tho it was a really recent event they did not spoke with me and my psychologist did not received any replies. Apparently the school pulled up a "He has schizophrenia its probably faking" card, when in actuality what she did was pretty much real and i am constantly haunted by the memories of those days.

Not only that but the principals keep victim shamming me since me and my friends were constantly speaking and complaining about how the teacher gives unfair treatment to us compared to other students even tho we are technically more informed in chemistry than them (for example, one of the "best students" for her labels an erlenmeyer flask drawing as a petri dish and gets a 10 even tho is wrong). They also ask my pschologist how im doing with my medication as if their stupidity wasn't the thing that led to my depression, anxiety and my hallucinations and paranoia getting worse and worse.

Nowdays i am mostly worried since not only she works with children but she also has a child wich she admited she gives "corporal punishment". I now sending her to jail won't make me suddenly recover from all the psychological damage but at least i want no one else to get hurted by her.
