I get this weird anxiety about Sunny’s heart beat. Whenever I accidentally feel it I instantly feel sick. For a minute I start thinking something is wrong. Is her heart beating too fast? Is it beating really hard? It’s working too hard isn’t it? I shouldn’t feel it through her shirt?! What’s wrong with her heart?

Then I have to remind myself that she’s a healthy normal 3 year old. Only Juniper has a heart disease. Sunny is perfectly healthy.

Then I force myself to hold my hand on her heart and calm down. Try to force myself with feeling okay and that it’s perfectly normal I can feel her heart beating...

But I can’t. It freaks me out. I can’t feel comfortable feeling my babies heart beat.

It’s just fucking small things that bring me right back for a moment.
