I’ve just been reminded of how amazing my sister is. I didn’t get into any of the reach schools I had been hoping for, like Cornel and Princeton. So I’ll be going to a different university that, while it has a great physics program, doesn’t have the same prestige.

She reminded me of all the great things that the college I’ll most likely be going to has and that we’ll only be a six hour drive apart. That we can fly home on the same flight part of the way. It’s in a beautiful location and, sure, the campus will be giant compared to what I’m used to, but it has a lot of options for majors.

My school has messed up it’s grading system. It’s possible that getting full marks on an assignment will lower your grade. The system also makes it so that it can be impossible to get an A or A+ depending on what the teacher assigns.
