hey guys! this is my second character and my cinnamon roll (though she can be not such a cinnamon roll), Phoebe!
⋙ Meet the Doctor
“Sugar, spice, and everything nice.”
Phoebe may be a native of Valdez being born and raised there, but her parents were not. Her mother, Larissa Ambrosia, was a native of Greece while her father, Roderick ‘Roddy’ Ritter, a native of Germany (Berlin). As you can see Phoebe is fluent in a hand full of languages. Not much is known about how her parents met (Phoebe believes her parents met through the mob), but what she does know is that when her mother was in her second trimester with Phoebe they both decided to move to Valdez, Colorado in America. The reason why her parents moved to Valdez is still a mystery to her, but she has belief it was to help out the Cobras. She never did ask her parents for she never really did care. Phoebe was their darling little princess, the apple of their eyes.
As Phoebe grew up in Valdez her identifying feature became her brains. She was beautiful back then, yes, but it was her brains that overpowered her beauty. It still does to this day in fact. She was the Prodigy of the Ritter family; her parents legacy. You would think though a child of two members of the Cobra mob she would act spoiled or be unkind when really Phoebe acted the complete opposite. She was kind growing up to those around her though horrible things to happen to those who bullied her. Like for example one boy found himself super glued to his chair while a girl learned Nair Hair Remover was in her shampoo bottle she kept in the locker room. People quickly learned that if you messed with Phoebe Ritter something bad always happened. Despite coming from a sophisticated household that practically oozed with confidence, Phoebe wasn’t so confident. Her parents claimed it would be her downfall with her being so shy. Which she is indeed shy around those she doesn’t know, but if you were a close friend Phoebe would be the exact opposite of shy.
When Phoebe gotten into high school she took all AP and Honor classes. She was a straight A student and when it came time to graduate high school she was Valedictorian of her class. After graduating high school, Phoebe got a full ride scholarship to University of Colorado in Denver. Of course accepting it the woman left Valdez for a few years to pursue a degree in the medical field. By the age of 24 Phoebe had graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Forensic Science.
Wanting to take a year off from school to travel, Phoebe put her education on hold and decided to make a quick stop back in her little hometown. She told her parents of her decision and of course it took them a few hours to get on board, but eventually they did. Though the plan of traveling came to a complete stand still when Phoebe accidentally eavesdropped on her parents. They wanted to come clean and tell the Savages of what they know of the mob they have served years for. Phoebe won’t admit, but she did feel betrayed. She does indeed have no interest in the mob, but she began to think what would happen to her if her parents did such a thing. Phoebe would be hunted and dead for her parents mistakes. As she wondered in her thoughts of what she could do, the mobster in her came out. The side of her she never did think she even had due to her kind nature. The idea kept her up all night until she finally decided to act on it. Phoebe had cut the brake lines to her parents car and luck was on her side for her parents were scheduled to go out of town today and they just happened to had to take the interstate to get to the destination. By that afternoon Phoebe had gotten a call saying her parents were killed in a car wreck (the police believed it was someone from her parents past when they lived overseas) and she had inherited all their money (her mother came from a middle class family while her father came from an upper class family).
After the death of her parents and keeping her dirty little secret to herself, Phoebe went on with her plan and that was to travel. She had seen the world and a few times was a nerd and went to Comic Con (ooc: SUE ME SHE IS A NERD). With the wanderlust out of her system Phoebe grew homesick and so by the age of 26 she came home to Valdez. They wasn’t a position open for Forensics, but there was for Medical Examiner and she took it.
