Alcon 2015 - Part One

I took Khoshekh and Cecil to another con just last week and though I didn’t manage to get any photos as Khoshekh on thursday this time around, I got these as Cecil friday morning. Some friends from over at bandursnatchstudios were running an ic WTNV panel, so I got some pictures with them before hand and while I was at it I found another Cecil and Kevin. Always love seeing others’ interpretations of the characters.

I know I’ve been super inactive here, but figured it was time to share the new photos I got as Cecil last week. Though looking at these I’m not realising just how tiny I look compared to others. So much for Cecil being “neither short not tall.” |:

Granted, prior to Carlos delivering the letter, my gf said immediately “Is that for Cecil?!” and I said “Is that for Kevin?!”. And we both theorized who it was for before listening to the second part, and I was sad to see that I was right jiweogjoer ))

((Ahhhh, yeah poor Kevin. I kind of feel bad for him, but at the same time I think it’s overshadowed by relief right now. XD

[text] That’s what I keep telling everyone! Are you finally experiencing the perpetual blur of humanity, too? Do I need to call a press conference for this?

[Text: Cecil] That…hm…he may be onto something. Scientists are comedians but, as much as I hate to admit it, he’s been right before.

          [Text: Pamela]: A comedian maybe, but we all know Carlos makes                                      a point of only telling scientifically accurate jokes.

           Carlos smiled back, curling his his hand around Cecil’s and            gently pulled him into the kitchen. It wasn’t strictly necessary,            but he loved how Cecil’s hand fit in his. After taking care of his            flowers, Carlos poked around in the fridge and found a bag of            leftover fajita meat for Cecil. “I was just gonna heat up some left            overs.”

           Smiling wider as Carlos took his hand, subconsciously Cecil was pleased            he’d decided to forgo wearing some of his larger, more elaborate rings            today. They just got in the way. “That’s fine,” he answered in almost a             dreamy tone, already well aware left overs with Carlos was an enormous            step up from what he used to eat alone.

“well….” kevin looked away and rubbed the back of his neck nervously, but then let out a small sigh. “Cecil…I may have lied a little bit…you see..” kevin looked back over at you but as soon as he did he glitched out and came back. “I was kinda transported hear. I…didnt hear anything from your friends or anything like that, i just..” he held his head and looked down. “im still trapped in the other world desert just liked your scientist, but no one really likes me there and i started to become lonely and well, went your scientist was asleep i kinda snuck in his lab and used one of his halogenorators to generate me out of the other desert world and to Desert Bluffs, but i may have accidentally pressed the wrong button and it generated me to the last place it was coordinated to go. It led me hear and me not knowing how to change the settings from the control panel. i just stayed….” Kevin held his face and looked away trying to hide his emotions from you and trying to keep a smile on his face , but it was slowly failing. “Im sorry Cecil I really did not mean to intrude on you..its just…i was so alone back there and like i said almost everyone hates me there and now…im standing hear with the person that hates me the most out of this world…..” you started to hear kevin sniffle a bit as he turned from you, heading for the door. “im sorry Cecil…i should really just go…”

           If only for a fraction of a moment, Cecil’s features appeared to soften.            Oh, how just the thought of being in Carlos’ pretense brought him such            joy. Even if they could not be fully together, having his boyfriend project            himself into Cecil’s version of reality was far better than a simple phone            call, or text message. However, as the thoughts ticked on in his mind, the            radio host’s eyes narrowed in suspicion. What if Kevin had broken Carlos’            equipment and prevented the scientist from being able to project himself in            the future?! Giving a skeptic hum, Cecil tried to keep his voice calm as he            spoke. “If Carlos thinks you’ve been nice-” he said almost spitting the word             “-recently why did you have to sneak into his lab while he was asleep?”

Finally got my first outing as Khoshekh at LuckyCon as well. I planned this to be a casual cosplay, though in the end I severely underestimated how long it took to get ready. Practice on the make up is a must to speed the process up.

In which I didn’t forget to take my camera to the con this time! The con took place within a church, so we managed to find a few interesting places for photos. Can’t see them very much in the pictures, but liking the upgrades I did to Cecil. 

Cecil and Carlos also discovered human personifications of countries, so science was conducted on Italy.
