Hi everyone @likofan here!! I got permission from the other Liko blog to create this. I am very excited to join the role-playing community.

This is my first time role-playing a character so sorry if anything is out of character.

Official Goodbye

//This is my official goodbye from role-playing and tumblr in general. I'm just done, I joined this community because I had so much joy and fun from being apart of this community. All of that joy is gone, and has been gone for a long time. I don't expect to return anytime soon, or at all at this point. I honestly didn't even want to make this post tbh, but it wouldn't have been kind of me to abandon everyone without saying anything. I was very close to just deleting my account, I wanted to, but I decided against it for now. I hope everyone in the community has a nice life and goodbye.

//Hi yall! So I'm back.... Kind of, I'm taking one more week off. On my hiatus I had a lot of time to think about the future of this blog. And I think I want to make some changes. But before I do I wanted to get some feedback first.

So the big change that I was thinking about was me not being on here all the time. Before my hiatus I was on here constantly, trying to always be available to rp. And it was causing me to neglect some things I really enjoyed doing. On my hiatus I've been limiting my phone use and doing the other things I enjoy, which I've been enjoying a lot.

What this means is that my rps will definitely be a lot slower. Because of the combination of me being on less, and different timezones. It would be a big change and I was hoping to get some feedback on how yall would feel about this. So I'm going to have a poll up for this week, and we'll have to go from there.

*Indy jumps back 5 feet. How? The power of anime.*

“Wait, I recognize you! You’re Liko, from the Rising Volt Tacklers!”

*He pulls out Salamence’s Pokeball, ready to battle.*

“What’s your deal? And where are your friends? Here to cause more ecoterrorism at this local convenience store?”

[She groans]

Please just leave me alone for once.... Today is the worst day for this!

[She starts walking away, shaking her head in disbelief]

[indy-the-explorer]

*Indy raises an eyebrow in disbelief. Director Spinel had informed him and Rubina that the Rising Volt Tacklers were dangerous teens who never backed down from a fight, and… Liko was just walking away? Impossible! Must be a trick.*

“Hey! I know what you’re doing!”

*Indy calls out from behind her, not making an effort to follow her yet.*

“You’re trying to get me to let my guard down, right?! Well you can’t trick me, I’ve got the IQ of a supercomputer!!”

[Her headache is getting worse, she didn't feel like arguing with this guy]

Ugh.... Sure.... Whatever....

*Indy crosses his arms as he watches Liko walk out of sight. Any second she’s gonna come back and jumpscare him with that evil cat of hers, he tells himself…*

*Minutes tick by. Nothing happens.*

“AUGH!! I was so sure of myself!! I just let a criminal walk away, I’m such a fool!!!!”

*Indy kicks a wall and hops around in pain.*

“Ow-ow-owie—“

*Nearby pedestrians look at Indy like he’s gone insane. The hell was this guy on…*

[She hears the commotion and looks back]

Oh you have got to be kidding me....

[Ignoring her splitting headache she goes into a store and buys an ice pack, walking back over to Indy]

Here.... Take this....

[indy-the-explorer]

*Indy looks at Liko incredulously. He refuses.*

“No thank you, miss Liko. I don’t take handouts from fiends!”

*He proceeds to limp away. He slips on a gum wrapper somehow and faceplants onto the ground. Thud.*

“This is the most embarrassing day of my life.”

[She sighs]

Don't be difficult about this.... You're hurt....

[She reaches her hand down]

Please just let me help you....

[indy-the-explorer]

*Indy (who now has a nosebleed) scooches away from Liko like a scared, injured animal. Is he… afraid of Liko? Dude… come on Indy. You’re better than this, man.*

“I’m fine! Perfectly fine! This happens on a daily basis and I don’t need your pity, Volt Tackler!!”

You're not fine.... Please....

[She's trying not to cry, no one's ever looked at her like that. Like she was.... dangerous]

I promise you I won't hurt you! I wouldn't hurt anyone!

[Her eyes fill up with tears]

[indy-the-explorer]

*Indy pauses, hesitant. At that moment, Director Spinel’s warnings seemed to fade away. All Indy saw in front of him was a very sad teen.*

“…”

*Slowly, he takes the ice pack from her and nurses his foot with it, looking at Liko with a cautious expression. Not scared anymore.*

“…thanks.”

[She stutters, wiping her eyes]

[She's still stuttering a little bit, but she looks much happier]

[indy-the-explorer]

*Indy nods. His nosebleed is still… prominent. He takes a tissue out of his pocket and wipes his nose.*

“It does.”

*He’s feeling better enough to stand, and so he does. The ice pack really helped. He’s a bit embarrassed, but… he’s grateful.*

“Do you want it back? I mean, you paid for it… I’d hate to just take it from you.”

[She cuts off and winches as she feels pain from her headache]

Ouch....

[She holds her head and leans on a conveniently placed lamp post]

“You alright? Headache, I’m presuming?”

*Indy furrows his eyebrows in concern. Liko was still one of his enemies, but he didn’t care about it at that time.*

“I have some Advil here if you want one…”

*He reaches into his jacket pocket and pulls out a crinkled Advil pocket. Geez, this dude had everything in his damn pockets—*

Y-yeah....

[She smiles and takes the Advil]

*Indy doesn’t look so defensive anymore. He’s calmed down now. He looks at Liko with a cheery face.*

“Well, Director Spinel gave me direct orders to catch you and bring you to Exceed if I ever found you out in public. Guess it’s time!”

*Oh shoot. He’s dead serious.*

[She groans again]

I really thought that I wouldn't have to do this today.... Kicking me while I'm down huh....

[She laughs half-heartedly]

I guess I should've known.... You're never see me as anything but the enemy.... Let's just get this over with....

[indy-the-explorer]

*Indy’s jaw drops. Liko’s… going along with it? She’s not sending out her scary cat or her even scarier fairy witch? His brain is short-circuiting.*

“You’re not going to fight back…?”

*Indy shakes himself out of it, muttering to himself.*

“Gah! Get yourself together, Indy. Just… escort her to Exceed without letting her escape.”

*He doesn’t have any restraints on him. He’s just gonna have to walk Liko to Exceed.*

[She sighs]

I'm in no condition to do anything.... I don't really care anymore....

[She's so tired, and her head is still throbbing]

Ugh....

[She's starting to feel dizzy]

[indy-the-explorer]

*Indy has no choice. He sighs.*

“I didn’t want to resort to this. This is gonna be really awkward.”

*In one swift motion, Indy lifts Liko up and drapes her over his shoulder like she was a big sack of potatoes. He starts walking off towards the direction of Exceed with his new hostage.*

“Strangest day ever…”

[The whole world is spinning]

Well.... I hope you're happy....

[She sighs again]

You got what he wanted.... You'll probably get a raise.... I'm.... happy for you....

[She doesn't really know what she's saying]

[indy-the-explorer]

*As Indy walks along, he can’t help but feel conflicted. Was he really doing the right thing? I mean, it was good that Liko wasn’t making a scene in public or drawing attention… from far away, it looked like a big brother carrying his unruly sibling home.*

*However, Liko didn’t seem to care. Indy didn’t know if she genuinely was too tired to fight back or if this was some kind of trick…*

*Finally, he stops at the entrance of Exceed HQ. They’re here.*

[You can barely hear her]

Alright.... Well.... I hope you have a nice life....

[She tries to smile.... It's not convincing]

*Indy scans his keycard and heads inside.*

“You are very different from how my boss described you. Maybe I just caught you on a bad day.”

*Indy heads to Spinel’s office, but upon entering… he’s not in there. Hm.*

“Oh. I’ll have to tell him later then. Now, what to do with you while we wait…”

*Indy paces around, before coming to a stop.*

“Aha!! I know!”

Hm.... Sure.... A bad day huh....

[She doesn't have it in her to argue]

And whatever could that be....

[indy-the-explorer]

*Indy heads into an elevator and takes Liko up a couple floors. He gets out, and turns left.*

*He finally sets Liko down in front of a big door. He unlocks it and opens it.*

“You can stay here for a bit! Exceed doesn’t have scary jail cells or dungeons, we uh… don’t tend to keep hostages. This is a spare guest room for visiting entrepreneurs. Just don’t tell Director Spinel I’m letting you stay here…”

*Inside the room is… like a neat little hotel room. It’s modern and has a bed, desk, and a bathroom.*

“I’ll be back when I find my boss. Bye!”

*Indy ushers Liko inside, and closes the door. It locks from the outside.*

Well.... He's certainly something....

[She sighs]

I'm too tired for this....

[She curls up on the floor and closes her eyes, her head still aching]

[indy-the-explorer]

[2 hours later]

*A knock on the door. The doorknob clicks open and Indy opens it, peeking in.*

“Woah! What are you doing on the ground? Wait, are you dead?!”

*He squeezes in, holding a tray of food with one hand, trying not to drop anything.*

“Don’t you dare be dead! I got you dinner and everything!”

[She's so tired.... But she tries to wake up]

H-huh....

[She notices him]

I-it's y-you....

[indy-the-explorer]

*Indy sighs in relief, spinning his keycard recklessly between his fingers as his panic dwindles. Bad idea.*

*The door closes and locks shut with a click. Indy’s keycard slips out out his hand and of course, he tries to catch it… but he ends up batting it under the door. No more keycard. They’re cooked.*

“Crap— my card!”

*Indy places the tray of food into Liko’s shaky arms and tries to open the door, but it’s locked tight.*

“This can’t be happening right nowww… I still haven’t had dinner!”

[She holds the tray of food to him]

*Indy looks at Liko with an air of pity. He refuses, shaking his head and kneeling down to her level.*

“No no, it’s alright. I’m just dramatic and I like complaining. You, on the other hand, need to eat.”

*He mumbles to himself.*

“Dammit, I left my Rotom Phone on the charger in my office. Guess we can only wait for someone to pick up my keycard and unlock the door for us…”

*Indy’s ✨big brother✨ mode activated. Liko’s no longer an enemy to him.*

I-I'm n-not r-really h-hungry....

[She sets the tray down slowly]

Y-you c-can h-have i-it.... O-or g-give i-it t-to s-someone e-else....

[She curls up and closes her eyes again]

*Indy huffs. This girl is just as stubborn as he is.*

“You remind me of me. And I don’t like that.”

*He lifts Liko under her arms like a toddler and raises her off the floor. He walks her over and sets her on the bed, before picking the tray up and bringing it to her.*

“Not a fan of mac and cheese? Come on, everyone’s a fan of mac and cheese! Here comes the airplane!”

*He scoops a spoonful and makes airplane noises.*

I-I'm r-really n-not h-hungry....

[She looks sad]

I-I'm t-tired a-and d-don't f-feel w-well.... P-please j-just l-let m-me b-be....

[indy-the-explorer]

*Indy sighs… he puts the tray on the desk and pulls up a chair to sit in front of her.*

“Alright, Liko. Listen, I know we started off on a bad note, and you probably hate me for… well… kidnapping you… but hear me out, hear me out! I can’t disobey orders from the President of Exceed. We might be on opposite sides, but you’re making me feel like the villain here.”

*If only he knew…*

“Do you want to put our differences aside and talk about it?”

I don't h-hate y-you....

[She avoids eye contact]

I don't want to talk a-about i-it.... I d-don't want to t-talk about h-him!

[She covers her mouth]

I s-should n-not have said that.... I should n-not have s-said that!

*Indy raises his hands in front of him, trying to calm her down. He noticed that she really didn’t like it when he mentioned Spinel…*

“Hey, hey… sorry for bringing him up! I’ll stop talking now, I promise!”

*He scooches his chair a few inches back just to prove his point.*

[She turns away, but you can hear her softly sobbing]

I-I'm s-sorry! I-I'm s-sorry!

[She tries to move away a little bit]

I-I d-didn't m-mean to!

[indy-the-explorer]

*Indy’s internally panicking. He’s never dealt with an emotional teen before. His big brother mode isn’t helping him at all.*

“Arceus help me, how do I calm a crying girl?!”

*Suddenly, Indy’s Salamence pops out of its Pokeball with a bright flash. It stares at Liko with a grumpy look…*

[She looks at it, surprised]

H-hi....

[She tries to wipe her tears away]

[indy-the-explorer]

“Salsa, no. Down boy, dow—“

*Indy yelps as his Salamence, who’s hilariously nicknamed Salsa, whacks him down onto the floor with its tail and holds him there.*

“Ow! Hey, you can’t tell me to get down, I’m your trainer! Salsa, look at me when I’m talking to you!!”

*Salsa ignores him and sniffs Liko, before nuzzling her face and letting out a low, soothing rumble. It seemed to sense her distress.*

Grrrmmm…

[She giggles a little at Indy getting whacked by Salsa. But after that, she pets Salsa slowly]

I-I'm okay.... Just b-bad m-memories....

[She tries to smile a little]

I'll b-be a-alright....

[indy-the-explorer]

*Salsa trills in contentment when Liko seemed to cheer up. Indy stays trapped on the floor, grumbling to himself like a pouty kid.*

“Thanks, Salsa. Now pretty please, let me up?”

*Salsa sticks its tongue out at Indy and goes back to nuzzling Liko, being careful because of its large size and tough scales.*

[She smiles even more]

[She looks down at Indy and laughs a little again]

Let him up please....

[indy-the-explorer]

*Salsa immediately lifts its tail up when Liko asks it to. Indy groans, getting up and dusting himself off. He’s trying not to smile.*

“You really saved me there, Liko. I was feeling like a damsel in distress, trapped by the big scary dragon…”

*Salsa rolls its eyes and chirps at Liko, lowering its head as if asking for headpats.*

[She notices and pets Salsa on the head again]

Salsa's not scary....

[indy-the-explorer]

“He sure is scary in battle, I’ll give you that. You’ve seen him firsthand. He’s a real toughie to beat! And yet… you… sigh. You beat him.”

*Indy looks embarrassed to even bring that up again. Salsa growls in happiness and licks Liko.*

[She giggles]

He's just a big softy at heart! A true gentleman!

[She smiles and giggles again]

*Indy chuckles, looking at Salsa and Liko like a proud big bro.*

“Guess I can’t disagree on that.”

*He sits back down on the chair.*

“What do you suggest we do to pass the time? It’ll probably be a while before someone saves us.”

[She smiles even brighter]

Yeah!

[But then her smile falters a little bit, however she fixes it quickly]

Uh.... Know any good games?

[indy-the-explorer]

*He thinks for a sec.*

“Man, if only I brought some board games. I guess we can only play lame ones like patty-cake.”

*He suddenly lights up. An idea (finally) comes to his mind!*

“Wait, I know!”

*He digs around in his left pocket. Nothing but lint. He switches to his right, and finds something. Indy takes out 2 mini Pokemon action figures: a Totodile and a Quaxly.*

“Check these collectibles out! We can entertain ourselves the non-boring way now!”

[She yawns, still tired]

Perhaps I should.... rest a bit first....

[She mumbles to herself]

Just a bit.... Only rest for a bit....

*Indy nods, understanding.*

“Good thing there’s a bed in here. You can take a nap and I’ll busy myself with my Pokémon figures. Have a nice nap.”

*Indy proceeds to quietly play on the floor with his plastic toys like a child. Salsa sniffs the Totodile and tries to eat it. Indy has to pry it out of its mouth all while keeping quiet.*

“Bad boy—! Drop it!!”

[She lies down on the bed]

[She slowly drifts off to sleep]

[She laughs again, forgetting about what she had almost said before]

"Really? Interesting.... Liko, Sprigatito says you like to eat donuts late at night."
