Hiatus...

Been away from tumblr for awhile. Something meaningful happened; I met a girl :)

She really likes me, already been over about 5 times. I like her too.

I feel bad knowing that our time together could be cut short (._.,)

It almost feels like a smack to the face meeting someone like her at a time like now.

This is Harry Moseley. He was an 11 year old boy with an inoperable brain tumor. He raised money for brain cancer research and made bracelets, and did public speaking to raise awareness and funds for his illness.

Harry is one of the bravest boys I’ve ever heard of, and many people had the honor of meeting him before his passing.

Harry passed away at 11:10pm on the 8th October 2011.

He was an inspiration to many, and still will be in the future. He was a shining star in everyone’s sky and still will be for me. He was a brave, brave boy and I hope he’s comfortable where he is now. 

RIP Harry, and everyone please remember to help Harry help others <3

The gym...

is starting to become my second home. My friend, Thomas, and I have been steadily hitting the gym for a good two months so far. Lost ten pounds but now it seems like I have plateaued. Should be expected since we started focusing more on weightlifting as opposed to cardio. One thing I haven't been doing though is watching my diet. I eat whatever my dad brings home, which is usually junk food. Guess I kind of had an epiphany today since I've decided to stop that entirely. If he brings home junk food I'll settle for a protein shake and a fruit. Water will basically be the only liquid I consume, with the exception of milk when I prepare my post work out protein shake. I've never calculated my body fat percentage, but I"m striving to get it into the 15% - 18% range. I'll keep checking on my weight every two weeks. Wish me luck.
