Elliott: Not anymore.~
KURT: Lucky me.~
TEXT MESSAGE ✉ KELLIOTT
Elliott: Just pick the time and place and I'll be there.
Elliott: Consider it added.
KURT: Are you free tomorrow?
TEXT MESSAGE ✉ KELLIOTT
Elliott: Fortunately, for you, I'm actually free this weekend.
Elliott: I think I can take you, Hummel.
KURT: Fortunately indeed. I look forward to it.
KURT: Mm. Add that to the list of things I'm looking forward to as well.
TEXT MESSAGE ✉ KELLIOTT
Elliott: I think you're in luck, Mr. Hummel. I do believe I have some time for you in my, oh so busy, schedule.
Elliott: That's because you're predictable. :P
KURT: Wonderful.~ Just let me know when you're free, the more time the better.
KURT: Oh? You'll be eating those words soon, /Mr. Gilbert./
TEXT MESSAGE ✉ KELLIOTT
Elliott: There's only one way to find out, Mr. Hummel.~
Elliott: You're never going to let me live that down.
KURT: Well then, Mr. Gilbert; will you come out to grab some coffee with me sometime this weekend?
KURT: I love how there isn't even a question, you just know.~
TEXT MESSAGE ✉ KELLIOTT
KURT: If I asked you out for coffee, what are the chances that you'd say yes?
KURT: And this time, when I say that the coffee is on me, I don't mean literally.~
Italian Dinner
Blaine relaxed completely as Kurt smiled at him, stepped forward and embraced him in a hug. Â He smiled to himself as the other inhaled his scent as he did the same. Â He loved the scent of the other, and it was almost intoxicating.
“It’s amazing to see you as well, I’m excited to be having dinner with someone, it’s been a while, between the theater and school.”  He walked slightly behind Kurt as he followed the host, so not to come across as to dominating.
They were led to their table and when they got there, Kurt was quick to pull out a chair for Blaine, a smile on his face while he waited for the other man to take a seat before gently pushing the chair in and moving around to the other side of the table so that he could take a seat himself.
The server asked if they needed anything and Kurt ordered a glass of red wine for himself, then looked across the table to Blaine.
Italian Dinner
teachertostarba:Â
Blaine couldn’t help but grin as the other man approached him. It was refreshing to be on a date with a Dom that didn’t automatically come off as overbearing. Since, Blaine did carry the mark of a submissive, working in theater and a being a teacher and dealing with dominant parents he felt drawn to some dominant characteristics, so being with a Dom that wasn’t all about control was ideal. He felt himself blush as the other spoke, and willed the red faced flush to leave as he spoke. “I… Was just about to ask you the same…since I also asked out a cute guy on that new up and coming website.”
The embarrassed way Blaine replied left Kurt smiling, and he couldn't help but rock up onto the balls of his feet before taking that step closer so that he could wrap his arms around the submissive in a hug. He could smell the combined perfume of the different scented products that Blaine used and couldn't resist inhaling through his nose. The little details were important.
"What a coicidence.~" He teased, then let go of the other man so that he could take a step back. "It's nice to see you. I'm really glad that you asked me." The host then interrupted politely and led them to their table.
elliott-starchild-gilbert:
I’m not sure if I should be disappointed by your lack of excitement in life, or flattered that the last time you did anything worth sharing you were with me. Maybe a little of both. You’re my shirt’s hero.~
Also, going serious for a moment, thank you again for your help with that. It’s not everyday someone takes the time to help the person that walked into them.
I'd say both is the best option there. Luckily, there's a way you can relieve that disappointment.
You're more than welcome, it's the least I could do. You might have walked into me, but I wasn't paying enough attention to avoid you either. And I'd say the end result was definitely worth the kindness.
Italian Dinner
teachertostarba:
Blaine ran his fingers through his hair.  He wasn’t sure why he was nervous?  Maybe it was because of the fact that this was a date?  Maybe it was the fact that it wasn’t?  Maybe it was the fact that he’d asked out a Dom.  He was so used to working and associating himself with dominates that he was used to practically being one of them minus his mark.  Kurt had said he hadn’ t been presumptuous, but regardless of that he could feel his stomach knotting up with nerves.
As he made the short trip from his apartment to the restaurant he went over a few lines in his mind, something he did to calm his nerves and breathed through. Â Once the cabbie stopped he tipped him generously for the smooth drive, and stepped out of the cab. Â He looked around, smoothed his sweater and jeans into place a final time then stepped inside.
The fact that Blaine had been brave enough to ask him out to dinner tickled him, and it kept him grinning to himself and humming a tune as he got dressed for the occasion. He thought about quite a few outfits before deciding on one, and his chipper mood stayed with him during the cab ride to the restaurant. Punctuality was important to him, so he showed up almost exactly on time and walked in right after Blaine. He recognized the other man immediately and felt the corners of his lips curl into a warm smile.
"Hey there, stranger." He greeted as he approached Blaine. His smile turned into a coy smirk, and his eyebrow raised with a small tilt of his head. "This really cute guy asked me to dinner on that big, new up-and-coming bombshell of a website. You know the one. Have you seen him?"
@Kurt
teachertostarba:
How about tonight at 7? Â I know a little Italian place close to the theater.
Perfect, just tell me where to be and I'll see you there.
@Kurt
teachertostarba:
Would it be too presumptuous to invite you to dinner?
Not at all, and I would love to.
elliott-starchild-gilbert:
Good.~ I’ve been pretty good. How about you? Thanks to you I haven’t had any more trouble with that shirt. I’ve also learned my lesson about not paying attention when I’m carrying hot beverages.
I'm glad to hear it. The last time I did anything noteworthy was when we ran into each other. I know, it's tragic. Aren't you glad I was there to stop you from throwing it away?~
I know I already said it, but you were /amazing/ the other night.
Thank you.. I love the role so much…
I’m so glad you enjoyed yourself!
Oh no, thank you. You can tell how much you love the role, it really shows. I'm impressed.
That I did. I'm glad I got to see it.
elliott-starchild-gilbert:
That is a shame. Looks like I’ll just have to corner you the next time I’m in the city.
I look forward to it. How have you been? No more trouble with that shirt, I hope.
