Vanya and Diego used to be in a band together

Klaus had a baby when they time traveled to the 60s

Allison used her power on Luther to kiss him

Luther had a robot on the moon named ben

Diego has one eye

Five was genetically altered by the commission’s comic equivalent

I loved the show, but one (1) thing really bothered me. They completely ignored the Diego/Vanya storyline from the comics. I know, it makes sense with the plot of the show that they’d ignore it, but I was really looking forward to that. Do you think there’s a chance we will get some of it going forward? I’m not too optimistic about it, but given how season 1 has ended I’m open to suggestions.

I’m a sucker for canon sibling ships, so naturally I’m all for Luther/Allison on Umbrella Academy, but while looking up the show I see that comic!Diego apparently has a thing for Vanya, and now that the ship has been brought to my attention I am all for it. (Probably because Luther keeps ticking me off and I think Allison can do better at this point.)

Tell me I’m not the only non-comic reader into them.
