 I’m refusing to have this conversation with you. I’m not going to do it. Nope. Not happening. There’s no winning dad. That’s what you don’t get. I’ve tried to do everything my power to try everything in my imagination. It’s like i’m continually beating my head against a wall over and over and over again. I reward him for going to school. I do fun shit with him. I punish him. I try to be a fucking parents and it gets me nowhere. I’m to the point where i just want to go back to my old life. Before all this shit. Before Matt…before all of it. 

I don’t want to have this conversation with you either for fucks sake. You’re my daughter. I was supposed to save you from this stuff. But I failed. There is no such thing as winning when you are a parent. I get that well enough Rhiannon. Honestly that feeling isn’t going to go away. But you have to pull through. Now is not the time to give up. I know baby girl, there is a lot of people that want to go back. Hell, I wish I could go back. I never wanted to end up like this. But we are here, in the present. As much as I’d like to help you go back, I can’t.

  Well thanks. I appreciate that. He doesn’t even want to be here. He doesn’t even want to be with me so I don’t know why I even try. I should of just let him stay with Jake.

My next question is are you still messing with that shit? Because I really don’t want you to lose him. I am not trying to bring this up to hurt you Rhiannon. He’s acting like this because he had to be an adult before he was adopted. It’s gonna take some adjusting. He won’t snap into this compliant kid overnight. Maybe you should reward him with that, for a few weeks at most. But just don’t hand it to him, or let him take it into his own hands.

 I could really use some help. I want to change some things and put a studio down the basement but Jesse really doesn’t get how to do that. 

Aren’t you busy with you desk duty? Not that I won’t take you up on it. 

Then say no more, I will do what ever you want. No questions and no fighting included. This actually sounds like a lot of fun for me. Jesse could keep his dancing skills, and I can have my handy skills. It’s just how the universe works. 

Desk duty is only two to three times a week for me. So It’s really slow at the moment. Don’t worry about it Rach.
