Spinning her thread effortlessly around, with long open arms that wrap slowly, tenderly… Ah, but what rush is there! As it seems you’re already nestled beneath her, caught up in her web.
“L-Let- Let me...” A shaky breath catches the urge to yell out a plea and freezes it in place. “Le-” What useless sounds... What useless limbs- They barely squirm, his shoulders merely stiffen as his back arches, as if any of that counts as struggle. Can he even call for help-? Is there anyone around to hear!?

Oh, he’s gonna look so closely at it. And turning it in his hand, enjoying each and every angle of it-- His cheeks are gonna hurt, at this rate!
“Is this-? Godzilla-san?? Did you make it!?”
In the morning, the delight of being granted an extra hour and a half before he has to turn in for work. He said he’d swing by a cafe, that’s what he did, and to be met up with friends, that’s all the nicer.
How much time then... If he slips away from them a little early, would there be enough to squeeze it in?
Or, not- There was lunch break, though those at HQ knew of his ‘special day’ as well, and the friendlier among them may want to do something. He doesn’t so often leave for lunch, it would make them wonder, wouldn’t it..? And would he even have time to run back to the house, and then over to there-? -- Unless he took it to work with him... It was a little big, though, couldn’t fit well into his bag, nor could so easily be hidden away all day-- Did it need to? Dad might want to see it though... No-
The next opportunity... if his father did intend on taking him out for a drink tonight- Though mentioned in passing, the man would do that sometimes, mention something without much follow up and then expect it to be recalled when the time comes. He couldn’t be sure... But, to do so right after work-- No, If he’s lucky, maybe there would be a few hours between? If the work day ends at the proper time.. His sister said she’d handle dinner for him today, so yes, maybe... Maybe...
He goes home alongside his father. While Sayo steals the kitchen, he says he wants to go on a walk-? Or would Kohaku want to go with him... ? Maybe-- Maybe if he says... A friend had a surprise for him, so he’s popping over to visit them, and he’ll be back before dinner. Kohaku tends not to want to tag along when other people are involved, so that should be fine?
So, get home, grab that box, stuff it into his bag, and go-- If he runs, he can make it to that detective’s place, drop off the box with a quick explanation of his thoughts and concerns, and go back in time for dinner... Yes, that should work out well enough.
... Unless... Unless Sudayev-san isn’t even in at that hour.. It wouldn’t be fair to expect him to. He could call first, perhaps, but even asking him to come in if he wouldn’t already be there--
Still, though, with how much his heart races, he doesn’t want that box in his house another minute..

Turning to him, he’d bend slightly forward to reach him the box.
“Happy Birthday, Satoru.”
He’d blink- So he did remember, though it wasn’t surprising, there was some type of feeling in his chest... A bad one? No, good-? Was it possible to be both? Though the so-called ‘bad’ part, he didn’t understand at all...
.... It made him happy. It made him really happy.
“Aw, dude,” he took the box with a grin. “You didn’t have to get me anything-!”

He’ll start to get up, though, stretching as he sends a look to the clock. Still early morning… good. “Hey, Satoru… Do you know what today is?”
“Hm, today-?” He’d push himself up, stretching a little and rolling his head back in thought. No, he knew what the day was, he didn’t need to think it over-- And though one could never be sure, he couldn’t fully count on Kohaku not knowing, either.
Still, the silly boy decided to place his bets on the small chance it was forgotten, and go with a simple, “May... 29th, right~?”
