okay. i have officially finished kr season one. and started season two. im adding a cut here because this might be long and spoilery. here are my thoughts if there are any
EPISODE 1: knight of the phoenix part one
HOLY SHIT. this episode was fantastic. the KITT introduction where he's sassy af and goes "i want custody of me!" was beautiful. michaels fit lives rent free in my head. i also liked that they shadowed michael long's face right before tanya shoots him; EXCELLENT foreshadowing. or whatever the word is. 10/10
EPISODE 2: knight of the phoenix part two
not only does he steal some guys clothes it IMMEDIATELY fails. i lowkey thought that tanya accidentally shooting herself bc of KITTs shell deflecting the bullet was karmic in the best way. Plane explosion was also beautiful. Not much to say about these two other than that honestly? They were wonderful intros but that's about the extent of it. Kitt's introduction has not been matched yet though I love that scene. 10/10
EPISODE 3: DEADLY MANEUVERS
this one. didnt really do it for me folks. i liked michael pretending to be a different guy and the many phony business cards he has but other than that? kinda meh. 7/10.
EPISODE 4: GOOD DAY AT WHITE ROCK
6/10 also kinda meh but more so than deadly maneuvers. the like final chase was honestly kind of boring WSHBKF i did like the scene where michael grapples with the guy and gets caught with the knife though because he Doesnt Learn From It
EPISODE 5: SLAMMIN' SAMMY'S STUNT SHOW SPECTACULAR 9/10. I enjoyed it but i have nothing to say on it. i wish kitt kept a star
Right about this episode i started noticign that Everyone who meets KITT just instantly loves him. 10/10
EPISODE 7: NOT A DROP TO DRINK
KITT and the bull. KITT and wranglign the bull. ok im sorry ill stop now. the way they stopped the water was. interesting? never in a million years could i have predicted that. 9/10
EPISODE 8: NO BIG THING no particular thoughts! 10/10 though
EPISODE 9: TRUST DOESNT RUST
Oh. OH MY GOD. Okay. Im still thinking about this one. I may have laughed at KARR for being called KARR But. he is so fascinating to me. Apparently he comes back and so I need to see more of him. Dunno how considering he b l e w u p but. I will make it to the next KARR episode. I wi (i am run over midsentence by what looks suspiciously like a black pontiac) 10/10. i also really liked the bonnie and michael interactions this ep!
this one was fun but the end was kind of disappointing? i kind of wish the girl hadn't had a sympathetic backstory like in plush ride. 8/10
EPISODE 11: THE FINAL VERDICT no thoughts 8/10
HELL YES. FEM VILLAIN. rip to her though!! i liked devon joining in with all the guys at the end. michael rlly just looked at this guy and said "we're friends now" and devon was like. "alright. sure" 10/10
EPISODE 13: FORGET ME NOT
ooh this one was probably my least favorite. i didnt think the characters were that strong and the final few minutes were a lil disappointing. took me three days to get through. 5/10
EPISODE 14: HEARTS OF STONE . not much to say about this one but i enjoyed it. 9/10
EPISODE 15: GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME DEATH
i was so genuinely shocked by an alternative fuel race that i postponed this one until i could watch it with my parents and see their reactions. imagine my further shock when my mom said "hey is that one car a dukes of hazzard reference" rented the first ep for me to see and i immediately got the one-two punch that was the entire premise of dukes of hazzard and then the fucking incest joke before the 20 minute mark. that one car, i believe, WAS a dukes of hazzard reference. and i am glad their car blew up because it gave me a fascinating insight into michaels character. also the scene where michael is all "am i in the right room? if i'm in the right room, than you're in the wrong room" was hilarious and for some reason Really felt like something id see in an animated movie today i dont know why. 10/10. i think this is my favorite episode cause i watched it with my parents (and i did my kr doodles after watching it!! :D)
EPISODE 16: THE TOPAZ CONNECTION
another fascinating insight into michaels character. the bit where he finds out it's her birthday and just does a 180 into doing his best to make her birthday a good one, even after her dad's murder, just. ough. i feel like michael is a level of kind and caring to e v e r y o n e you dont see in male protagonists that often. 10/10. i also thought the bit where he pulled up to the airplane as it was landing was fantastic and i still need to grab an sc of how he was sitting on KITT so i can draw it
EPISODE 17: A NICE, INDECENT LITTLE TOWN
Never Trust Bible Salesmen. KITT taking the old lady for a chase and michael giving her his leather jacket to wear during and her being so into it warms my heart. 10/10
EPISODE 18: CHARIOT OF GOLD
OH MY FUCKING GOD THIS EPISODE. "then you're gonna have to kill me to stop me" completely overriding KITT's new programming. KITT desperately searching his data banks for Michael's underground mission and growing increasingly stressed as he can't find anything. "we're a team. we love each other" oh my GODDDDDDDD 11/10 solely because ill always love michael and kitt and bonnie and devon being a friend group together
This. oh . Yeah this one. This one got me. you all know why. i think she recognized him at the end. 10/10 but it really did break my heart ngl
EPISODE 20: KNIGHT MOVES not much to say but was 10/10. KITT going "how about Hot Knight?" cracked me up because of the double meaning
EPISODE 21: NOBODY DOES IT BETTER . SHE THOUGHT IT WAS AN AFFAIR. this episode had me SOBBING 10/10. devon playing the video games at the end... so silly
EPISODE 22: SHORT NOTICE not much to say besides the fact that damn he really got away with kidnapping her? 7/10 just wasnt feeling it. i DID like KITT and the kidd interacting though. KITT is so awesome
SEASON TWO E1: GOLIATH no. no. not to KITT. if KITT is in any way hurt damaged or injured, im starting a RIOT. also i cannot take garthe seriously because hes so. they really told david hasselhoff to wear a mustache and make his hair evil and its. interesting. also bonnie is not in this season apparently ????? i have been informed she comes back in later seasons but oh my god im gonna miss her she was absolutely integral to my enjoyment of s1 and april is Not doing it for me. okay thats it bye this was probably disappointing but i had to get my thoughts out before i combusted. i cant believe ive finished s1
