When a planet gets combust, most of the people say that it loses its power and strength. And the person will face issues related to the significators of that planet. For example - if mercury is combust, the person will have issues communicating.

But what I have observed is when any planet gets combust, its energy and power doesn't automatically disappear or reduce. That planet, by the virtue of being close to the sun starts drawing its strength from the sun.

So a person with combust mercury will not face communication issues if he/she has a balanced sun. In fact, when used correctly it can even amplify the effects of mercury. Hence, such a person can get success, fame and visibility through their communication skills and how well they can express themselves, given the sun is balanced (confident, giving, have integrity etc).

You can apply this logic to other planets as well, in the case of a combust Venus, confidence and visibility can lead to attracting wealth and pleasure in one's life. Combust Jupiter, integrity, strong values and ability to provide can help you gain wisdom. So on and so forth ☀️

Insecurity of Jyeshta and Rohini

I read a lot of posts , talking about which is the more jealous nakshatra.

Well according to me both are quite insecure nakshatras but for different reasons.

Rohini , is ruled by Prajapati Brahma. They are naturally blessed with abundance, beauty and the ability to create. Almost like a birth right. Brahma was full of ego how no one could recreate his creations, so Rohini natives could be caught up with themselves and how unique they are. But there are many brahmas who created many universes , so they have to deal with this false ego.

It all gets ugly when they start feeling entitled to what they have or what they are able to create. Rohini is the youngest child that gets all the attention but gets jealous when the attention moves and starts throwing tantrums. Rohini can easily turn into individuals that are ungrateful and always complaining. They could become entitled snobs and turn a blind eye towards all the blessings in their lives.

Jyeshta on the other hand is insecure at its core and has inferiority complex which they hide by displaying their enormous ego or end up acting superior. It's a hungry nakshatra , the void of desires that can never be satisfied, it wants the validation and attention to appease the false ego , this is not mere jealousy rather envy. Jyeshta natives easily feel threatened by others. A lot of mythology around Indra , shows how caught up he was with himself and his power , also insecure about losing everything he had. Jyeshta was also the wife that instigated the other wives to notice how Rohini got more attention than others. Jyestha feels the world is too cruel and in order to survive they have to follow up. Hence they grow up into ruthless adults who will do anything for their goals and aspirations. ( A great example for jyeshta themes is Donald Trump, like he is the human Indra almost )

I see a lot of negative connotations attached to Rohini over here but you all seem to forget jeyshta is a thikshna nakshatra while Rohini a Sthira nakshatra. One strives for power and authority while another is already born with influence and status.

Cow Yoni: The Unwanted Child

Whenever I meet/interact with a series of individuals who all share the same Moon sign and similar-ish life experiences, I feel 😳✍🏻🤔🧐. I'm sure many of you can relate to gaining (second-hand) insights of this sort through the lived experiences of people you cross paths with.

And it is in this fashion that I started noticing how many Cow Yoni natives (the nakshatras of Uttara Bhadrapada & Uttara Phalguni) often experience abandonment, neglect and "unwantedness" early in life. Now, there are a variety of nakshatras that could experience these themes. Abandonment and neglect are human experiences and not exclusive to just one or two nakshatras. HOWEVER, I wanted to extrapolate on why these two naks/Cow Yoni natives, specifically, go through this journey of being abandoned and then "choosing" themselves.

But before we start with that, I want to distinguish between Uttara Phalguni (UP) and Uttara Bhadrapada (UBP).

UP is a Sun ruled nak. It is of the Kshatriya caste. The deity of this nak is Aryaman, who rules over contracts, friendships and matrimony. The symbol is a bed and it represents marital union. (Distinct from Purvaphalguni that represents the wild, passionate romantic union, UP is focused on the commitment and duty of marriage). It ranges between Leo and Virgo rashis.

UBP is a Saturn ruled nak. It is also of the Kshatriya caste. The deity is Ahir Budhnya, a water dragon that resides at the depths of the ocean. He is the God of fertility, kundalini and requires seclusion. It falls entirely within Pisces rashi.

Now what do cows represent in Hindu mythology?

Cows represent abundance, fertility and non-violence. They are the supreme providers, who are selflessly giving---- or, are they?

It's not really innate to a cow's nature to give, but rather that, their bodies and their ABILITY to nourish are exploited and taken for granted. Cows don't stand around going "omg milk meeee😩😩". They were domesticated and forced into prolonged pregnancies in order to produce milk that can satiate humans. So cows are, even in India, where they're worshipped, widely exploited for human benefit, like most creatures are. Also keep in mind that cows are female.

Now, I want to start with perhaps the world's most famous orphan. Harry Potter.

The titular character was played by Daniel Radcliffe, who has Uttara Bhadrapada Moon. The Harry Potter series was written by J.K Rowling, who has Uttara Phalguni Moon

One thing about Cow Yoni natives and their experience of abandonment that sets them apart from others who experience similar things is the fact that Cow Yoni natives, almost always, come up in society, are well-regarded and despite early traumatic experiences, they achieve traditional/conventional success and are by and large, "accepted" by society as adults.

Lacking nourishment and being isolated/separated from loved ones or lacking loving parent figures is a key defining theme in the lives of these natives. Especially if their chart also contains Mleccha/Outcaste nakshatras.

Harry Potter may have grown up as an unwanted orphan but he's also The Chosen One and literally the most famous wizard to have ever lived etc.

JK Rowling also lost her mum young and had traumatic early life experiences, living in near poverty and being a single mom.

He was only 12 years old when he lost his mom. And her death affected him differently than it did Prince William. Harry did not enjoy the same status or "belonging" within his own (royal) family. William was always going to be the next King. He even stepped down/away from the Royal Family; something that is virtually unheard of. He was always the black sheep of the family and kind of the perpetual third wheel.

Now, orphanhood/unwantedness can manifest in many ways other than abandonment/neglect. Institutionalized, or parentless children, or children who aren't sufficiently cared for, still experience unwantedness in some ways.

Haley Joel Osment has played an "unwanted" child in several films. The Sixth Sense, in which he is emotionally neglected, with an absent father. Pay It Forward features an abusive alcoholic mother and an absent father.

A.I. Artificial Intelligence, where he is literally abandoned by the family that adopted him. Secondhand Lions, where he is dumped by his irresponsible mother with two elderly uncles.

Jackie Coogan, Uttara Phalguni Rising

Jackie Coogan became famous for playing abandoned children in movies like The Kid, Oliver Twist and Daddy.

Miyazaki, who has Moon conjunct Ketu in Uttara Bhadrapada, often casts orphan children as his protagonists.

Now, circling back to the bit where I mentioned how both these naks belong to the Kshatriya caste. This is the warrior caste. They are 2nd highest in the caste hierarchy. However, unlike the Brahmin caste, who are scholarly/priestly, Kshatriyas are soldiers. This means that despite being accepted by general society and not facing social alienation, they still have to go to battle and endanger their lives to stay where they are. This represents the peculiar duality, where they have to endure extreme hardships, trauma and "soldier" through life, but to the outside world, they are highly successful, well liked, well to do individuals.

The dark side of nakshatras I wish more people talked about:

Krittika, Pushya, Chitra, and Vishakha are nakshatras that often get overlooked due to inconsequential and weightless interpretation/description labels put on them. However I have been observing these nakshatras closely and have found some rather interesting patterns that a lot of people seem to miss. For example Krittika is often described as just "sharp" or having "surgical precision" when handling any matter, or Pushya is described as "nurturing" or "sacrificing for others" but there are certain nuances behind these traits that go deeper that just face value. Here are the things I've noticed:

Pushya is the nakshatra I would label as the smother mother.

The typical way Pushya is described is as the ultimate nurturer but peel beneath the veil a little and you will see a darker reality. Pushya natives can often use their nurturing as a tool for total psychological control and unhealthy dependency. Pushya people in their negative expression will cook you meals, feed your ego, and acts like your savior until you can no longer function without them. Because they are ruled by Saturn which is the karaka for shame and balance, they can resort to using guilt and "morality" as weapons to disarm you once they can feel you slipping out of their grasp. Their toxic trait is that they cannot handle people who don't need them. If you try to break free from a toxic Pushya, they will likely play the ultimate martyr card, twisting the narrative so you look like the ungrateful and selfish one. And that is why the nakshatra after pushya, ashlesha, is continuation of pusha's smothering nature, as nakshatra progression often takes or evolves the traits of its previous counterpart.

Krittika is given the orphan archetype, but people are sometimes not able to see how the concept of being cosmically orphaned plays into krittika's traits.

Krittika is usually just called "angry", but its real myth is rooted in abandonment and foster/substitute parenting (the Pleiades raising Kritikeya).

I have noticed how Krittika people tend to have a rather deep and subconscious alien complex where they have a "me against the world" mentality, so they have a perchance for isolating causing other to lose interest in them as a person. However, when they do make friends or have relationships they can commit, so long as the other party does not try to "fix" their deep rooted belief system because once this happens they will completely incinerate those relationships the second they feel vulnerable.

And more on their orphan mindset, they always seem to believe that they are either "better of alone" or "are not wanted so why even try" so they can consciously or unconsciously sabotage their relationships in pure adamance just to avoid being rejected first. They can mask extreme emotional coldness as logic. They will pick apart the deepest insecurities you shared to them in your most vulnerable with surgical precision, pass it off as "constructive criticism," and feel zero remorse for tearing you down.

Vishakha is quite envious if you ask me.

People across the astrology circle call Vishakha "goal-oriented," which completely strips away how jealous people with this placement can be. Vishakhas have envy, like obsessive envy. There was this girl I knew that was so jealous of everyone for no reason, she never seemed to be okay with whatever she had, although I'm not sure if it was her vishaka moon of if she was just a really unhappy person on her own.

And what is so astonishing to me is that a vishaka person's envy is not just because they want what you have but more so that they won because you lost. They are hyper-aware of what everyone else has, and they suffer from a chronic internal emptiness that no amount of success can fill which shows how Vishakha's symbol, the poisoned vessel, comes into play. I have also notice another pattern, and it is that Vishakha people often build a relationship trap where they target people they perceive as broken or lower in status than them, build them up, and then fiercely resent them the moment that person gains independent success.

Chitra: Reducing Chitra to "art and fashion" completely misses the point of its ruler, Vishvakarma- the celestial architect who crafts illusions, chitra natives are great at this, they have a mind blowing ability for extreme superficiality and complete ego detachment. Chitras can build a perfect life, a perfect relationship, and a perfect personality, but it is often completely hollow inside. They care so deeply about how things look than how things actually feel, it reminds me of AI and how lifeless it feels. Because they view life like a canvas, if any of their relationships gets messy, ugly, or complicated, they won't try to fix it, they will simply paint over it, delete you from their life, and move on like nothing happened

I have noticed something in people with prominent mercury nakshatras. Mercury makes people very sensitive. (Hence, the term mercurial.) They can pick up even the slightest change in tone, micro expression, body language shift, implied messages etc. I feel mercury is a very sensory powerful planet and it can sense a sensory shift in the environment quicker than anyone else.

This can make people who have these placements excellent detectives, investigators or researchers.

However, the sensitivity can backfire (as I have seen in most cases) and when directed inwards this can lead to insecurity or overthinking. They can become obsessed with themselves or others. Every smallest comment made on them can start to bother them and they keep remunerating on such thoughts.

If the mercurial energy is not utilised well into some kind of work which needs them to pour this energy outwards, this can become a challenge.

Having a strong sun really helps here, it gives mercury the direction it needs. Maybe that's why mercury stays so close to the sun all the time....

Matangi shares the bija “AIM” with Tripura Sundari. She is connected to duality, identity, and the dissolving of impurities (“untouchable”) into wholehearted bliss (Kamala).

She is the form of consciousness which recognizes that nothing is truly seperate for we all come from the same singular source of consciousness (Sun). This is why she is connected to Uttara Phalguni. Uttara Phalguni is basically when the Supreme Soul (Lalita) “splits” herself into a smaller soul (jiva) and then that soul is incarnated onto Earth (GENESIS/DENEBOLA’s FALL FROM GRACE. This is why I called Uttara Phalguni a “church girl” — because it’s deeply connected to God. Others have pointed this out as well.

Matangi is the healing aspect of singular consciousness. This is her ability to label and categorize energy into words. She is a very crafty, complex yet intelligence energy. She is also connected to Ashwini’s dual principle, which is that you cannot have one without the other. Ashwini is when dual principles work together seamlessly as one realizes there is no true different between “this and that”, which is why the Sun, which is Universal undivided consciousness (Sadashiva), exalts in Ashwini. Matangi represents the awareness of duality being an illusion. She heals the division by embracing everything “bad”. This is a concept which belongs to the sole creator of the Universe which should not be mimicked by human beings. This is why she is referred to as the “Soul Authority” in all of existence — only she is allowed to call the shots when it comes to deciphering what is truly good and what is bad. As the all-encompassing mother, because she has created all, she also embodies all. Meaning that even the bad things must go somewhere. This is a scary thought to the irrational mind which is why she is one of the final Mahavidyas. She requires keen insight and great humility (Saturn/Kali) in order to truly understand. She is also the aspect of shakti which embraces “impurities” which is why Sun nakshatra women are often made the scapegoats for their families; their Manipura chakra is naturally very “strong” and people tend to throw all their internal shame onto the Sun nakshatra woman. This is why Sun nakshatra women become independent and virginal (keeping their sexual energy to themselves especially because it hypnotizes as Matangi does); because others literally shame them. In the movie “Love & Basketball”, Sanaa Lathan (Uttara Phalguni asf) is shamed for appearing too masculine for a girl. When I was a girl, I was a tomboy. So was Aaliyah. This is the Solar woman’s way of guarding and protecting herself from unwanted attention.

Matangi is the spoken word as a manifestation of the Soul, which is another reason Sun nakshatras tend to be belligerently honest and unforgiving when it comes to untruths. It is a form of preserving the Soul from becoming “fallen” while it journeys throughout the material world. This is a Solar person’s worst nightmare: losing their authenticity and autonomy.

Matangi, when she consumes unwanted and untouchable energy, “alchemizes” it into bliss and prosperity (Kamala), which connects to Uttara Phalguni, magic (spells) and wish-fulfillment as a form of alchemy.

every insanely spiritual woman most likely has an insanely high libido but never has sex because of the consequences.

This has been stated about Mars nakshatras quite a lot, and it relates to Mars ruling celibacy which is control over the libido. It also equates to Mars being the physical act of sex (exchange of two different Shaktis, essentially) while NOT being the pleasure of sex!

Dhanishta is important to ground one’s spiritual energy into the Muladhara , which keeps sexuality healthy and flowing.

Hence, Dhanishta is one of the least neurotic nakshatras. It’s about grounding spiritual energy into the physical, because if spiritual energy overpowers physical, then one is susceptible to spiritual psychosis.

However, I think the saddest thing about Dhanishta energy is that the only reason they’re *tend to* be comfortable with sex (when they’re not reclusive) is because those around them groom them for it since their youth. Literally heartbreaking. Another reason why I’m looking at my Dhanishta IC like “yeah I need to heal that.”
