Any fandom tagging is done for personal sorting purposes. Sometimes my personal tags align with certain main tags and I avoid using them on original posts that I don't want appearing on the main tags.

everyone rightfully complains about how the r word is back in vogue now but I think the people talking about how using ChatGPT makes you a small brained lazy degenerate are getting off way too easy
there is something to be said about the erosion of literacy and comprehension skills (and composition skills) by the over use of LLMs. if you do less of something youâll get worse at it. if you skip the hard part of something you wonât get better at it.
if you only ever eat fast food and never cook for yourself you will forget how to cook for yourself as well as you once did. if you always use LLMs to write your code or your emails or your stories you will lose your edge in writing those things. thatâs real and inherent to outsourcing your technical skills, no matter what they are.
BUT âď¸ if you canât have that conversation without evoking the specter of eugenics, then youâre not ready to have that conversation.
