I have wanted to draw the flirtatious Anemone for years, and I thought it would be interesting to try in Hazbin Hotel art style, and since it’s MerMay. For those who don’t know, Anemone is a character from the videogame Tales Of Monkey Island (I love this franchise 💙). They are a merfolk species called Vacaylian. I like the intentional androgynous design and the way the creators kept their gender ambiguous in the game. "Hi sailor" is kinda the Vacaylian catchphrase so I added it along with heart shaped bubbles 🤭

🔥🌿 POKÉMON 30TH ANNIVERSARY: RED AND GREEN 🌿🔥 Today March 27, Pokémon Red version and Green version released in Japan. The games were an important part of my childhood, diving into the world of Pokémon when life got tough, focusing on catching monsters in the tall grass and discovering new ones, the schoolyard rumors that usually turned out to be hoaxes but that you still believe in deep down. Missingno. giving you nightmares. It gave you a new level of excitement, and I’m happy to have been a part of it since the original games. To show my gratitude, I redrew the earliest Game boy sprites of the three starters. Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle. Ken Sugimori’s artwork has always been inspiring to me, especially his watercolor paintings. So this is my take on his style. I also made a version of the “washed out scans” coloration for the sake of nostalgia ✨ I chose Bulbasaur as my starter because it was cute 🍃 and it’s still my favorite of the three.

Some people wanted to see me drawing Husk 🐱 Great, cause I never would have thought about it myself since he’s not one of my favorite Hazbin characters (but absolutely a funny one). And I took the opportunity to experiment with the coloring a bit.

First time I’m drawing Hazbin Hotel fanart ✨ I have wanted to draw human Alastor since his appearance but I already had so many projects to finish. I would love to see demon Alastor skip and dance down the street like he did as a human. It really made me crack. Wishful thinking but I hope to see a full length movie about his backstory from birth to death. Either way, I enjoyed drawing him 🦌

🎄🎅🏻 Jim Starling is “Bad Santa” 🎄🎅🏻 I was skeptical to draw Megan in pants but it did turn out kinda nice. Jim is just perfect for the role of Willie 🤭 I tried to keep it close to the actual movie poster but with some tweaks. Would probably have been an..uh..interesting parody 🥴

Jim and Megan are making the city dangerous on Halloween 🎃🍁 Megan is dressed in her witch costume and Jim is dressed in his Negaduck costume. Halloween is the only day of the year where Megan is accepting that Jim is dressing up as Negaduck, or as she calls it “that ridiculous costume”. 🤭 They are like an old married couple. I love them so much 💜
