The Storyteller Logs is a collection of short stories/one-shots; some from the past, but most in the present where the main storyline takes place. It currently updates every Monday on AO3.

Asks are open! When it begins with "[searching...]", it means the answer is a little in-universe snippet of writing, rather than an answer from me.

-energetic, will get zoomies for a few minutes then just moves on like nothing happened

-fiercely loyal to friends and family, will do anything for them

-has favorite people and dislikes being separated from them for long

-very social and generally enjoys company rather than being alone

-loves little treats, head pats, and positive reinforcement

-dislikes loud/sudden noises

Tony is, to the surprise of many, very susceptible to dad jokes. This means both telling and hearing them. He genuinely finds the wordplay funny and clever. He and his friends could just be having a fun day out when he randomly goes, “I don't trust those trees. They look pretty shady to me.” and they roll their eyes, but they're grinning or chuckling a little, too.

He and Freddy also get along really well, but for some reason everyone else leaves the room when they’re together (they exchange the new jokes they’ve learned and subject anyone in earshot to them).

I like to think that in-universe, Freddy in Space is like this giant multimedia spinoff. It’s got movies, shows, books, comics, games. And Gregory is deeply invested in all of it, which I like writing a bit like “that kid who’s really into FNAF and their family, who know nothing, but go with it because it makes the kid happy.”

Gregory takes his friends to see the new movie, gives them a brief overview of things on the way there, and does not shut up for 3 hours after the movie ends. Ask him a question that seems like it should be easy to answer and he will ramble about the lore for long enough that he does answer your question, but also gives you thirteen more. He lives for any and all kinds of Easter eggs, secrets, and callbacks.

Mimic and Cassie animation I kept saying I'd do :)

A little rough around the edges but uh... this is your reminder that I have a collective 4 hours of any form of actually learning animation, and the rest is Vibes. The reason it took a little longer was because I kept wanting to fix things until I got the distinct sense that this was a "you'll improve as you make more, not by continuously tweaking one" situation.

Started a low poly Cassie, got distracted, and finally started texturing it yesterday. It's almost done, I just want to do a few more details. Expect an animation (at least one with the Mimic) soon, hopefully :)

I had an AU idea that got blasted into my brain right as I went to bed. Has anyone done something similar they can link me to?? Because I know someone has to have done something similar, but I’m bad at figuring out how to search for these things, and I need something to satiate my desire for this before I… go and make a new project…

It goes like this: Michael lost his first friend to an unfortunate accident he never got an explanation for. Then years later, his little brother dies in a prank gone wrong. The similarities are only coincidences, right? Until… decades pass, Michael’s sure he’s finally ready to move on and… he spots a new kid. A kid that’s so similar to Michael’s old friend and little brother, a kid that also seems to be wrapped up in all the pieces of Michael’s past. And he makes a decision: he was going to do whatever it took to keep this kid from sharing the two boys’ tragic fates.

Basically a story where David (Murray) is literally CC (he will probably be named Evan) is literally Gregory. In a figurative/vibes sense, Edwin is William is the Mimic; Fiona is Elizabeth is Vanessa; Trisha (gotta love giving relevancy to the babysitter I’m pretty sure is mentioned at most twice) is Charlie is Cassie. Because I evidently love characters doomed by fate and giving them existential crises.

Gregory is generally someone who very much values his personal space. He likes crowds—makes things feel lively, makes him blend in more—but not if it’s too big. Most people getting too close to him put him on high alert, because they’re usually threats; usually “just” bullies, but after SB and if he’s taken off guard enough, he’s prone to distracting/running away from that person, regardless of context. He got lost in the mall once because of that (he immediately called Vanessa so she could find him, she was worried sick, he felt stupid for “overreacting” to “something stupid”). This is clearest when he’s got a water gun—startle him, and he will turn around and shoot… at where the eyes of the animatronics would be.

You know what he does with people he’s really close to, though? The ones he feels safest around? (That’s Vanessa, Tony, and Freddy, but there’s a whole other rambling about Gregory and Freddy’s head.) He doesn't just let them into his personal space, he seeks them out when he needs comfort. He nestles under Vanessa's arm when they're sitting together on the couch, lays on top of Tony and just... stays there. Gregory doesn't really have a safe place as much as safe people, because anything could happen anywhere, but he trusts those people to protect him.
