I have too many ideas and can't sleep...

I have another CAW project idea! If you don't mind me rambling for a bit I would love to tell you about it!

The weather has been nice and warm lately (minus a few rain showers). I'm so glad it's starting to really feel like summer! My partner and I went to go "creeking" at a park nearby where I live a few weeks ago. It was totally amazing! I loved it so much even though I was hesitant to take off my socks. 10 out of 10 experience!

While we were there I was just thinking it would be nice if there was a camping/nature themed world in the sims 3. Like a campground with forests and parks all around the map. Sims could take vacations there (like world adventures) with the NRASS traveler mod. Maybe there could be a river or a creek like area where sims could go creeking too? That would be so nice! I would love that so much. I saw that @twinsimming recently released a hiking mod! It looks super cool! I just downloaded it and I can't wait to try it out! It's so nice that there's such talented people in the modding community for the sims 3. I don't know anything about modding but I'm glad that people do it! I'm so grateful for everyone who makes mods for the game! The sims 3 is so much better with mods (in my opinion!). Like I love that my idea of a camping themed vacation world might be possible with mods. I don't know if it will ever actually become a real project or not but maybe someday! I still have so much work to do on my Sulani Islands project. CAW projects take a lot of time (literally years) but it's so worth it! And I don't want to start too many projects all at once. Even though I really have that bug in my mind that's saying "do it!"

I want my sim to be a certified "freak for the creek" like I am lol.

Hey! A lot of people asked about if I was going to add a dive lot to my Sulani Islands CAW project! So here it is! I added a lot of spawners for fish and collectables too! I hope it looks good! Thanks! :)

Also, can I just say that it took me FOREVER to figure out that in order to go under the water you have to do the lower floor/downstairs button? I could not figure that out for the life of me lol. I thought you just had to zoom in to go under water. I figured it out!

Sulani Islands update part 3? I can't remember how many posts I have posted about this, but I am SO FREAKING excited so ya get another one! :)

I am working on an area that will be the "downtown" area. I'm hoping to put the sports center, city hall, pool/gym, bistro, most of those buildings etc. I still have other important buildings placed around other parts of the map (like the school, library, graveyard, etc). And I will absolutely have to make a dive lot or 2! I've never built a dive lot so I don't know how exactly I'm gonna do that but I'll figure it out! :)

This project has been SO MUCH fun! I am really happy with how it is turning out! It's looking so good already!

I made a sim based on the moon!

Here is her house! I built it in my Ex-Terrestria alien themed world. I thought it seemed fitting! I'm obsessed with her. She's so pretty!

I've updated the Scenery navigation page

I originally wanted to use a different theme for the navigation page, BUT now using a custom html theme requires emailing tumblr for approval. I sent that email nearly a year ago and still haven't heard back😓so i'm done waiting and made it with excel instead. Not the fancy layout I imagined, but at least it's nice and clean.

I'll keep updating this spreadsheet whenever I can. You can save it as an xlsx. or other formats, though the layout might get messy. I'm offering a formatted PDF version here.

Note: The world sizes may not be 100% accurate. Some creators didn't provide this info, so I had to guess based on the screenshots (though I'd never call a small map "large") If you find any mistakes or dead links, please let me know!

I still have a long way to go! My last CAW (create a world) project took a few years to complete so I am imagining this one will go that way too. I can't believe that I started this project last fall and I've already come such a long way! It's looking so good so far! I am very excited to finish this project!

It's a good day to be a sims 3 player! Omg so much drama in the sims 4 community over the marketplace! I never really got into playing the sims 4. For many reasons. I think my favorite thing about the sims 3 is the whole open world concept. I like being able to travel all over the map in my car, bike, or even on foot and not having to deal with loading screens.

I also really like the graphics of the sims 3 over the cartoony graphics of the sims 4. When you put weather/lighting mods in your game it's simply perfect. Makes me feel a little jealous of my sim haha! Who wouldn't want to have views like this? I wish I could live on the beach! What a nice life to live.

These pictures are from Mirth by @gruesim. It's definitely one of my favorite worlds to play in right now. If you haven't played in Mirth I highly recommend it! You should check it out! :)

I built a gym and a bistro in the downtown area. I can't get over how cute they turned out. The leaves are falling on the black gum trees. It's starting to turn to fall in Mirth! So pretty!

So cute! I'm planning on adding menus to the tables once I can move more sims into this town. I only have like 2 sim families living here so far.

I love that there is a hot air balloon just hanging out in the sky. I wonder what it would be like to be in a hot air balloon in real life. It would probably terrify me cause I'm a chicken when it comes to being high up off the ground. They sure are pretty though! This would be a nice painting. :)

Hey! It's me again! I just wanted to share some screenshots from a project I've been working on! I am building these cute little family homes on Maple street in Storybrooke County. I really like that they all have their own unique look to each house.

If you know me, you'll know that I can not STAND those cookie cutter houses they've been building all around me where I live in real life. Ugh! They're so boring! I don't know how anyone can stand to live in a neighborhood where all the houses look the same. Like, the exact same shape, the exact same size, the exact same color, yeah you probably know what I'm talking about. I would rather die than live in a liminal space town like that. I miss when each house had it's own vibe. And didn't look like it just rolled off the factory line.

What happened to building homes with character? Sorry to rant about it. It's just something that bothers me.

No offence to you if that's what you like. It's just not my style.

Annnyway! I hope you like my homes! :) I haven't done all of the interiors yet. Once I finish that I'll have to come up with some families to move in.

Hey friends. I'm back again with another project. I've been working on this WIP castle build I thought I might share with everyone. :)

I saw that the sims 4 is releasing a new DLC for some kind of royalty/legacy pack. I thought that sounded interesting. I'd like to have something like that in the sims 3 so I figured that Vintage Champs Les Sims would be a good world to try that out in.

I'm still working on the landscaping aaand then furnishing... and I have to build up the surrounding lots too. I can't wait until it's finished! I'll let everyone know when it's done. I might also share it on SFS so anyone who wants it can play with it too! :)

Is anyone else NOT watching the superbowl tonight? It just dawned on me that the big football game of the year is happening today. Yeah I'm not really a sports person. It just never was my thing. I'm gonna be playing the sims instead probably lol.
