Hey everyone, me again.

So that mod blew up. 1600+ downloads in about a week. I know many mods get far more, but stiiiill, it's exciting. Thank you for everyone who downloaded and shared feedback!

So here's a more-or-less finished version (might add more stuff if anything surfaces, or if anyone reports embarrassing bugs), properly uploaded on the Nexus. Source also included (not GitHub atm, meh, but you can download and see everything you need from the Nexus link).

Also...EA app support! Yaaay! Special thanks to riperviwe over on Discord for being a test subject and sending live logs to make it possible. Also everyone who tested over at the Creators' Cave Discord server!

WIP - Bridgeport Remake

These are some screenshots from my current WIP - a Bridgeport remake named Portland (with almost no relation to the actual city).

The most noticeable change is the integration of trees around town and greener and more vibrant color for the terrain paints, so it doesn't look like the town is situated in the middle of a treeless tundra. Additionally, I added some details that make the city feel more alive and more European (with default replacements). I also limited the terrain paints - a compromise to improve world's performance plus used a more advanced technique in the routing system.

Some lots are still empty because I want to make them a little different and more suitable for the new face of the town.

Aside from the police cruiser replacement car, which I can't say when will be available, I feel this project is way more important to me! I started making a remake of this world a couple of years ago, but almost every time, something went wrong and the world files got corrupted or accidentally deleted. But I promised myself that this would be the last time I lose something important, and fingers crossed I will actually finish someday.

Sims 3 Farm and Garden Stuff

Its no an expansion, but I’m trying to compile lists of things that are farm related from both custom content and Sims 3 Store sets.

Sims 3 Store Content for Farming:

Grandpa’s Grove (venue) which contains Grandpa’s Grove Tractor (premium content)- the tractor is needed to be able to grow oranges.

Farm Fresh Folk Set (set) which contains Milkin’ It Dairy Corral (premium content) - allows you to get milk from cows.

Fowl and Feathers Chicken Coop (premium content) now found in April 2013 Compilation (set) - allows you to get eggs from chickens.

SwiftGro Gardening Station (premium content) from Stones Throw Greenhouse (venue)

Look what I found! This tool is so good.

Found it through github, it produces all types of maps. Haven't seen it being mentioned anywhere... I used a Maxis floor as an example. It produced very nice results on images of floors I got online.

[Beta] Sims 3 UI Tweaks [UPDATE 26.02.2025]

I would be grateful for any feedback on my new mod, UITweaks. For anyone using my FocusOnSimNotOnLot and Recover Notification Mod, they are now merged into it.

Update 14.02.2025 Searchable pie menu is now an independent mod.

List of tweaks

1. Lunar tooltip now use the same background as Season tooltip.

2. When a pet or toddler is selected, the Career and Opportunities tabs are hidden.

3. Queued interactions can be moved up one position with a right-click, allowing the entire queue to be reorganized.

4. Use the RecoverNotification command to re-show previously hidden notification.

More tweaks and download under the cut.

5. Right-click a Sim’s icon in the Relationship tab to focus on them, even if they are not visiting.

6. Season tooltip now display the current weather.

7. The command console has been overhauled. Insert topmost cheat by using the TAB key.

8. When a stray or wild horse is leaving the current lot and the tooltip would normally display 'Going Home,' the tooltip now says 'Going to its place.'

9. Focus on inactive sim or on a vehicle

10. Ghosts that reside in town or are actively hunting will now appear in the Relationships tab.

S3SS 1.6.2 - Century of humiliation edition

Updates / New patches

Fixed an incredible "bug" w/ Direct3D9, S3SS should now no longer use 200mb~ randomly… This took me ohh... several days to track down.

Updated dependencies, mimalloc being a notable one

New/merged Lot Streaming Optimization patch and new object throttling patch which is really cool and good and you should enable them all

Add aligned-alloc family support to mimalloc just in case

A big 4k LoC (I am mentally unwell) update to S3MM is also coming soon-ish, with the imgui API coming shortly after. It'll come with a very janky mod conflict viewer that I plan to improve upon sometime in the future (very WIP atm like the rest of the side-features!). Once the imgui API drops I'll then probably move it out of beta and start releasing the patches I've written using it.

Sims 3 Performance Boost Patch Collection

Hey everyone, here's another spicy experimental thingy from me. Emphasis: experimental. Please back up your saves! I haven't found any issues, but you should err on the safe side!

I'm resisting the urge to write this description as a winding story about why this thing exists and how so here's as quick a rundown as I can manage:

This is an ASI mod (like Smooth Patch or Settings Setter) that goes into your Bin folder and does its thing at runtime.

Depending on your setup, it might significantly speed up loading times from game launch to in-world. In one of my saves, it went down from over 18 minutes down to between 3 and 4.

It should also reduce memory usage (specifically, the 'virtual address space'--the real reason for Error 12 and memory-related crashes). How much depends on your setup, but it could be up to several hundred MB.

In-game stutters and especially multi-minute freezes (if you experience those) should be shorter and fewer overall. Not gone, but much more playable.

This mainly works on retail and Steam versions of the game. Many of the patches won't activate on EA App version. You can still use it, and might still reap some benefits, but the strongest patches aren't supported yet. It's in the pipeline, though, so stay tuned.

You need an ASI loader for the mod to load (like the wininet.dll from Ultimate ASI loader). If you use any other ASI mod, like Smooth Patch or Settings Setter, you likely already have it.

But all the S3SS patches are removed from this release version. You can use them together freely if you want all the patches.
