One of the earliest dialects Sonia had learned upon her arrival at Hope's Peak was successfully interpreting whatever Gundham had to say. As over-the-top and ridiculous as it was, it never failed to leave her feeling inspired, or at least to marvel at his ability to display his power. Or his ability to care for those smaller and weaker than himself, those without a voice humans listened to that cried out for help. She nodded, shutting the door behind her as she followed him quietly into his dorm room. Slippers padding against the floor, she was careful to sidestep furry tails and paws.
"Cerberus and Shiva," Sonia repeated, her smile growing even more luminous as she knelt down on the rug, closer to the animals' size. "Oh, how very darling and foreboding indeed! They are so very cute!" Without any hesitation, Sonia took a cross-legged, seated position on the floor, beckoning to dog, kitten, and rabbit equally with her hands. "Come here, please come sweet ones! Yes yes, I should like to give you many pets, yes!"
A few kissing sounds and snaps of her fingers and both Cerberus and Shiva wandered over. Hesitant at first with sniffs to her fingers and assessing the new arrival, but it wasn't long until the dog gave her hand a lick, followed by an eager bark and wag of tail before flopping right onto his back for Sonia to pet his belly. In turn, Shiva took a seat at Sonia's side, allowing the princess to smooth back the cat's whiskers and scratch behind the ears, where they could not reach very well. The only one truly annoyed by the new predicament was San-D, whose annoyed squeaks indicated she did not appreciate Sonia sharing her attention with the others. It was enough for the remaining three Devas to look at her with puzzled, or bored, expressions in return.
It wasn't long until Sonia was doing precisely what she'd attempted to tell him to cease: laying, rather inelegantly with her back on the floor, laughing as Cerberus made his way onto her stomach while Shiva was engrossed with one of the ends of the belt tie to Sonia's silk robe, pouncing on it and delivering an assortment of bite and teeth marks to the delicate fabric. Not that Sonia minded, but San-D was disgruntled enough to crawl out of her robe's pocket and wander off a safe distance away, near the rabbit who watched the scene with curious, though apprehensive, interest.
"Oh no, now I'm the one being loud," She whispered as loud as she could without raising her voice to a proper speaking tone, embarrassed. If the pink color in her cheeks could be attributed to something other than the late night activity of playing with Gundham's animals, but Sonia would deny it if asked directly. "I'm sorry, Tanaka-san, it was just so difficult to resist them! That is their unique power, I would imagine."
Sitting back up, she carefully slid Cerberus into her lap while Shiva took up residence next to her thigh. Sonia exhaled, worn out by the playtime but cheerful, content, as she smiled up at Gundham. "I've no doubt that our rabbit friend shall find her place soon, though I imagine you will find a suitable name for her with origins in the occult or mythology. Those names are best, and most befitting a friend and ally to you." She nodded at the stack of books: beyond the animals, that helped keep her smile intact. The nature books she wasn't as familiar with, but the occult and philosophy texts were ones she'd perused herself, either at Hope's Peak or in her family's various libraries at home.
Home, something Gundham seemed to be intrigued by. Sonia raised her eyebrows, surprised yet pleased, as she stroked Cerberus behind his silky ears. "Yes, my nation borders France on its Western side and Switzerland to the East. It is about eleven to twelve hours by plane between Novoselic and Japan, and it is a wonderful place! There are large cities, including the capital, but plenty of countryside with hills, lakes, and many mountains. Save for winter months, it is often very green, lush, and full of various wildlife. Are you planning a visit, Tanaka-san?"
