Original 8°6 Crew - France 1995
Police chase skinhead during rioting in Wood Green. London, July 9, 1981.
The Baldies (Minneapolis) were the world’s first anti-racist skinhead crew, predating SHARP. They successfully waged a campaign to drive a local neo-Nazi gang off the streets and were founding members of The Syndicate, an inter-city coalition of anti-racist crews throughout the midwest United States. Documentary clip about The Baldies and their contribution to the creation of the Anti-Racist Action network right here. More about The Baldies here.

It wasn’t my day. My week. My month. My year. My life. God damn it.

We don’t even ask for happiness, just a little less pain.

I considered suicide, but I felt a strange fondness for my body, my life. Scarred as they were, they were mine.
Charles Bukowski, Ham on Rye (via wordsnquotes)

Charles Bukowski, from a letter to John William Corrington featured in Screams From The Balcony: Selected Letters 1960 - 1970 (via violentwavesofemotion)
That’s the problem with drinking, I thought, as I poured myself a drink. If something bad happens, you drink in an attempt to forget; if something good happens you drink in order to celebrate; and if nothing happens you drink to make something happen.

Human relationships are strange. I mean, you are with one person a while, eating and sleeping and living with them, loving them, talking to them, going places together, and then it stops.
Charles Bukowski (via thoughtkick)
Can you remember who you were, before the world told you who you should be?
Charles Bukowski, Post Office (via wordsnquotes)
no, I don’t !
